Minecraft Thread v36 - Games

I don't want to kill it. :frown: It's a 2x2 and there is only one, I managed to trap it so it's stuck in this hole.

How long does it take to get a good house and stuff going, without going outside at night ( I am afraid of creepersssssssssss) 69 more posts til' we have used 1/10 of our posts in this thread.

Ladders are your friend here, mobs can't climb them.

I wish I had the attention span to really build something cool. I built a castle, but I just don't feel like finishing it any time soon. I mean, I have the ideas in my head of what I want to do, I am just so damn lazy... I am proud of what I have done, though. I guess that's good :D

So, I just started playing Minecraft after two weeks away, and I thought that Skeletons riding Spiders were just a joke like sea monsters. That is, until one showed up on the other side of a river. That has to be the scariest god damn thing I have ever seen. I hope it doesn't notice me. :ohdear:

Does anybody have a spare graphics card so I can run this game and play more?

I wish Notch would add in more climates. Like deserts and jungles and such. That would be cool.

So I made a fatal design error on a big wall project I'm working on. For the most part, it's 3-blocks high except for every fifth section which is two blocks high with a torch on top. There's a wooden roof over the top that's inset by one block, ie, the path is 5 blocks wide including the wall and the roof is three blocks wide. (I know torches won't ignite wood but I'm going for a bit of realism). On either side of the torch the roof extends out by a block for support. Now, creepers like to jump. And they like to peek in through this gap where the torches are. Unfortunately, if you're using the path and you happen to jump at exactly the same time as a creeper and he ends up level with your head at the top of the jump, he'll blow up. Shit.

I find it pretty much impossible to have fun on Singleplayer now. I have to have other people with me to have fun. Shit sucks.
