Minecraft Thread v36 - Games

Okay I figured out how to install textures on ubuntu: - Goto your home folder and hit ctrl+h - Search ".minecraft" The rest of the steps are exactly the same if you were to do it on windows, Goto bin Then open up minecraft.jar and drop the files into it. Bam done!

Didn't care for minecraft beta multiplayer. But I got to say, the alpha is pretty good. Can't wait for more things to be added. Would be nice if notch got some people together to make more things to craft and such(Don't know who does what right now). Looked on the wiki and didn't see anything. Is there any specific time it takes for trees to grow and how to make them bigger and grow faster? Also I have yet to run into any ore besides iron :(.

Thanks in large part to seananners doing a video on minecraft and having an open lobby. CoD kids will want to play with him so they'll buy it. Does xnotch have a day job? Cause I think he can quit it with todays sales.

Wow, I haven't been on Minecraft because of school and all. What happened to Nerdy's server? I saw Mineville.net is down and so is the server? Did it die?

Oh my god my new base is amazing. It's in a mountain, in between two waterfalls, with an undergound cave system w/ underground river. And natural defense against enemies because they seem to get stuck in a pit, I might make a video.

i hate the fact that most of the commentaters are all doing minecraft videos just because JX23 started to do it. :doh:
