And you should also read what I posted before ('And the fact that I couldn't focus on that server and wanted to do something which is fun but doesn't require focusing is actually indicating that it was most likely caused by ADHD.')
please quote the post where you state that, i missed it.

It makes emotional development (on average, of course) 30% slower than of a normal person. And the fact that I couldn't focus on that server and wanted to do something which is fun but doesn't require focusing is actually indicating that it was most likely caused by ADHD and had nothing to do with my intelligence.
the inability of not being able to co-respond with other humans emotions (thus their emotions of you blowing up their stuff) is also caused by adhd, get your facts straight and ask your parents for adhd and autism tests, and take fucking Concerta (PILLZ).
the inability of not being able to co-respond with other humans emotions (thus their emotions of you blowing up their stuff) is also caused by adhd, get your facts straight and ask your parents for adhd and autism tests, and take fucking Concerta (PILLZ).
I was already diagnosed wtih ADHD, and I don't want to take medication, I'm fine without it.
Tbh this sounds more like you
asperger, that is where i was looking for. asperger is a form of autism and i know where i am talking about, my brother has it and he can totally agree with you that you should ban somebody over two torches.
drama ftw Best 400th post ever
asperger, that is where i was looking for. asperger is a form of autism and i know where i am talking about, my brother has it and he can totally agree with you that you should ban somebody over two torches.
I don't think I have it nor do I want to waste money to get tested for it, as it wouldn't change anything.
Alright this isn't the megathread for discussing your problems. This is about Minecraft, take it to the PMs or a chatroom.
Aight sure, but please point out here, or provide citation of where it says emotional devolpment is impeded by this
Those are signs, not consequences.
Those are signs, not consequences.
Those are diagnostic criteria. Note that not a single one of those criteria are related to emotional development.
Those are diagnostic criteria. Note that not a single one of those criteria are related to emotional development.
'Six or more of the following signs of inattention have been present for at least 6 months to a point that is disruptive and inappropriate for developmental level:' They're listing signs, not consequences. The exact signs in the diagnostic criteria are put there for a reason - because these are the easiest ones to notice. Things like 'lagging emotional development' or 'reduced dopamine levels' aren't put in the sign list because they're not very easy to notice.
'Six or more of the following signs of inattention have been present for at least 6 months to a point that is disruptive and inappropriate for developmental level:' They're listing signs, not consequences.
uh... observed diagnostic criteria ARE consequences of the disorder. Thats how we know the disorder exists. We diagnose by observing the consequences of the disorder.
Guys, shut the fuck up about your disorders, the criteria of the disorders and talk about something related to MINECRAFT!
:frown: Porkers is dead. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/RIP.png[/img_thumb]
Tad late, bans tend to do that. I LOVEDED YOU PIGGY! I LOVEDED YOU!!!!
uh... observed diagnostic criteria ARE consequences of the disorder. Thats how we know the disorder exists. We diagnose by observing the consequences of the disorder.
It's a sign list. It's supposed to have consequences of the disorder which are the easiest ones to notice, but not include all consequences of the disorder, therefore it's a list of signs but not consequences, even though sgns belong to consequences.
It's a sign list. They are the criteria by which ADHD is determined to exist or not to exist in a patient. It's the bottom line.
Great, this thread is now about mental disorders. :downs:
does anyone have any news on Arocraft server? Was supposed to be up yesterday but I haven't heard anything
Those are the DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA. They are the criteria by which ADHD is determined to exist or not to exist in a patient. It's the bottom line.
A diagnostic criteria which consists of signs. It does not necessary have all consequences of the disorder, but only some, which are listed in it.
You're gonna get yourself banned Willerin, just drop it. This poor chap obviously has problems but he doesn't realise arguing semantics on an internet forum won't make him better on a related note, how many people have you gifted Minecraft to Will?
A diagnostic criteria which consists of signs. It does not necessary have all consequences of the disorder, but only some, which are listed in it.
It has all the diagnostic criteria. Any criteria beyond those outlined in the DSM-IV criteria are unrelated to ADHD Btw, just read the minecraft creepy pasta with 'him' in it, saw some pictures and the really well done video. anyone else familiar with it? [editline]04:43PM[/editline]
You're gonna get yourself banned Willerin, just drop it.
It has all the diagnostic criteria. Any criteria beyond those outlined in the DSM-IV criteria are unrelated to ADHD
Nope. It doesn't include 'reduced dopamine levels', for example, which is a known consequence of ADHD.
Alec needs to fix the server. It hopefully will be back up today, but no promises.
Aight this shit is so far offtopic it's not even funny. Don't get mods in here banning and turn it into the Spacebuild Enhancement thread. [editline]12:46PM[/editline] seriously shut the fuck up and talk about minecraft. [editline]12:47PM[/editline] Minecraft.
talkin' bout minecraft
Nope. It doesn't include 'reduced dopamine levels', for example, which is a known consequence of ADHD.
Thats because that's a chemical imbalance that's part of the condition, and not an observed behavioral consequence of the disorder. DSM-IV outlines the BEHAVIORAL EFFECTS of disorders.
talkin' bout minecraft
Yes. Yes we are. In that respect I shall talk about how my friend's minecraft server caused his second pc to completely kill itself while we were playing last night.
