I can't run minecraft in a browser, the actual box (not sure what else to call it) inside the browser doesn't show up.
I can run it fine by downloading it but it just bothers me how it doesn't work in browsers for me. Using chrome btw.

If you have noscript enabled, try disabling it.

When i try to run the game from my browser a message pops up asking permission to run it, perhaps you need to allow it somewhere?

It will show the character fully black other than the red parts of the face. The translucentness doesn't show ingame. Atleast didn't for me.
