I've been working on a fort for a few hours I'll post some pics when I finish.
Cleaned up the OP a little and added Mumble as per TheHANGOVER's request. A Mumble-specific section was made above the SMP server links, and you can read it here:

Once you finish Downloading the Software and go through the introduction, click "server" on the tool bar, and then click on the "connect" button. Hit "Add new..." and type in this information:

Port:64718
Username:(whatever you want your username to be)[/code]
And thats it! You should be all set to chat :D

On the wiki I read about how Notch may make it so floating islands drop unless they have obsidian in them, and I was just thinking about how badass it would be to climb up on one, mine out the obsidian, and then ride on it as it slams into the ground.

OP should clean up the Notch's plans list because it's pretty out of order/scrambled.

Why? It's not like it's supposed to be in a specific order. It's just what Notch said he MIGHT put in the game at some point in the future.

Shame they won't properly fall but will look how sand does. Riding an island would be funny.
On the same note, some sort of gravity would be nice too, so caves/cliffs cave in if they aren't supported, of course this'd need a good reworking so you can still mine without it collapsing on you every minute.

this has given me inspiration to do my own with the hunter.
I just set up a home for the first night, waiting around for the zombies now. I'm gonna move to higher ground soon and make a signal fire, so when I go exploring I know where to go back.
I made my home in SP on an island. It's now fully lit with torches, so as long as I stay on the island, I'm safe. :v:
