Played around a bit with the textures, and made it so I could actually see through the glass now! yay! I love how easily modable this game is

does anyone know a few good traps, i only know one working trap and it covers a 1x1 area, and only works if monsters do not see you.

Can someone tell me about the differance in difficulty its not in mineopedia?

Even though i'll still shit bricks and put it back down when i hear a zombie.[/QUOTE] I used to be an player that plays only peacefull, but i played normal for a while, learned to shelter for the monsters and have all needed supplies in door. try making a base with a good mine, loads of coal a tree and bread farm, some mob traps and put it on medium. after a day or four of survival, make an iron armour, and an iron sword. put everything except an pickaxe, axe the iron armour and sword and 32 torches and 2 stacks of cobblestone into a chest. then head out into the open, walk at day and night, die and realise you are at your settlement again, and try again until you get a nice place, then use the stacks of cobble to build a little base. at day, build wall around the base and light the area between the walls up with torches, then you will see playing minecraft on normal isn't so bad. after having a nice base, build a tunnel between the first and second settlement, and then head out of the first settlement WITHOUT any gear. survive for one day and night outside, traveling in one direction and then build a base there. congrats, you have mastered your fear over the monsters in minecraft, good luck. score = 100 - times died - times afraid. try to get a score as high as possible. rate usefull if the guide helped you, and dumb if you are still scared shitless. BTW: this worked for me, i play on normal now, have no fear of any monsters except the skeleton, and i builded a nice base :buddy:
