Haven't got the game yet, seen some great videos about it though. Anyways, just wondering, can you get Minecraft (talking about the bought version here) to play as an application(.EXE program file), or do you absolutely have to play it on the browser? I've been itching to play some survival. Edit: Hope Minecraft goes up on Steam when it finishes.

I am officially done with SMP until notch fixes it. I am tired of the servers crashing and me losing everything. I had the idea to make my ores into blocks and placing them so I don't really lose them, but I can never gather enough for that to work. I had 3 diamonds and I jsut need 6 more to make a block and I would have been good but nooo. SMP is a broken mess and it makes me angry.

Sure it takes out the effort, but I'm first experimenting with everything before I start going real survival MP.

I look out of the window and there's just a fucking creeper staring at me. It's pitch black, and all I can see is a green face hideously twisted into a mixture of anger and pain.
