I still play, I made a new map yesterday, first map I'm playing that isn't on peaceful (I'm on normal). I made a base in a tree so nothing can get to me :v: Anyone got any advice on how to capture a spider?

Make a trap big enough for the spider to fall in ( 2x2 )
I personally love the water drown trap.

I have a hole bigger than 2x2, but I can't lure anything into it. Where is that trap someone made that you sit inside, and monsters get dragged in and drown?

I had shadows in the last two weeks, but they were really bugged, there'd be 12 of those small shadows for one block, just in a 4*4 grid

That used to happen all the time in water. I emailed notch about it like three months ago.

What if Chests automatically collected items thrown items when they touched?
Imagine a sewer system with the ability to go retrieve the cobblestone and other waste products and use them as building material.

Yes, for the interpolation on scaling choose "none" and not "cubic" or any of the others.
Finally got Minecraft, yay. Bit disappointed with the buggy multiplayer survival but whatever, with luck it'll improve.
