The block removal thing is only when you're around the spawn, theres spawn protection.

Don't let anyone tell you it took code from Notch. Manic Digger is coded in C++ and it 's actually even coded better than Minecraft, but it's a blatant ripoff and a terrible version of the game.

indeed, it started as a ripoff for the game minecraft is based on, but as minecraft got bigger than that, it started ripping minecraft off.

With all the server mods nowadays it works perfectly fine (but without monsters). You also should download persister to keep your inventory consistent.

Move Persister to a folder closer to root. Like C:\.
Also, make sure it's in the same folder as [I]Minecraft.exe[/I] the launcher, not [I]Minecraft.jar[/I] the game file, otherwise it won't know what to run.

Thanks a lot. The problem was that the original directory contained both language specific and special characters.
