I prefer 16p textures, minecraft is too blocky to look really good with 32p, it looks blockier than with 16p.

It looks way better in 32p, and it doesn't look any blockier in 16p, just lower res.
Notch could at least add 32p support and I'd be happy.

I think it does look blockier in 32p, due to the higher resolution, just saying.

You could just use something the default and compare it to something like Doku's pack.

Where can I find diamond, is it like at the complete bottom of the map?
it's close to the bottom, you should be able to find it at lava-level
I've never found diamond outside of caves that contain lava and water.
When I get down to the lava-lakes level, I mine all around the edges of the lava lakes so I can completely walk around them. I have found many a cave this way.

I think there needs to be a stone block between cobblestone and smoothstone. Like bricks or something. I don't understand how you can get cobblestone bricks directly from mining, and I don't understand how when you put those premade bricks into a furnace, you get untouched rock.

Not yet, there is still quite a lot that needs to be done, and with me not being much of an artist. it's going to take some time, I will release the terrain.png when I complete it though.

You place it on the ground, place a few stacks of something inside, and then you can pick it back up without your stuff falling out. When you are carrying it (you can only carry one) it shows up on your back.

When you use a pickaxe stone walls. Rocks come out. Cobblestone in minecraft comes in already formed blocks. It should come out like clay bricks. Unusable rocks. You craft those to make cobblestone.
Also, smoothstone should be impossible to create. I don't know how you create it? I mean rocks are like, millions of years old. Putting broken rocks into a furnace making solid rock seems a bit odd.
To me I find it odd when I go mining that the stuff I'm mining comes out in cobblestone bricks. It would be like mining iron and iron blocks coming out.

I agree but we do need smoothstone, or maybe a rougher smoothstone.

Yes, but I liked the idea of carrying stuff that you need with you, but putting it off to the side. Like extra tools and torches and stuff. Or if you have excess cobblestone. Throw a bunch in your bag and give the bag to someone else, or just throw it all at once in lava.
