Unfortunately all the Creative servers have been dumped for SMP servers nowadays.

Gravel can have a use after all;
If you submerge gravel in water it will break apart and turn into rock and sand.
Now for this to work, he would have to add the ability to get rock from stone, and when you craft 4 rocks, you get cobble.

Gravel already has a use for powermining for flint, Keep digging it and keep replacing it to find an arseload of flint.

When you put them into a furnace you melt them all down into concrete, And the rocks thing isn't bricks, it's the literal debris from the smoothstone.

well if you'd play with the default texture pack once in a while you'll see that cobblestone isn't ever in brick form

Besides, cobblestone isn't rocks-you've-broken-up-and-reassembled, it's a square of rock you broke free with your pickaxe, hence why it has cracks in it, and when you put it in a furnace you [I]smooth out the cracks you made when you pickaxe'd at it to get it loose.[/I]

I hope he adds steel. Stronger iron for tools as a middleground between iron and diamond, but you need to refine lots of iron to get some.

Or atleast add Oil as a liquid, it's highly flammable but if you make an oil barrel you can fill it up and use it as a more effective minecart fuel. Spilling it in water will contaminate the water and turn it a darker color, and harm creatures in it.

And can be turned into a block so we can reenact the wizard of oz.

Wood is great, with two easily available resources, but stuff like bricks, which require clay, which also requires coal and a working furnace, is way less common.

copper, tin. combine them for bronze! maybe jewels to add on the bottom of tools or something like that.

yeah that is annoying as hell, they just get there and are too lazy to cut down a tree, mine 3 rocks and make a stone pickaxe and buy or mine for iron, and then diamond, they simply ask for a diamond pickaxe right from the start.
