That Nyx set is p awful and I don't know how it got in. It doesn't even follow Nyx's colour scheme and just looks ugly.

I like the Nyx set just from an artistic point of view, I'd use it if it actually followed his color scheme.

Control your temper. Just because you feel like someone made a bad set for your precious Templar Assassin doesn't mean you should get aggressive to people.
The Nyx set might break his color scheme a little bit but I don't see any problem with mistaking him with a hero like Bristle they have totally different silhouettes. Neither of the sets seem to break lore from what I see.
Well, after they let loose the promo couriers with the tickets; is not the big deal at this point.
We all knew soon or later they would star adding terrible items just because they are popular (like the QoP set) This is the biggest problem with the workshop, is just a race to whore points so Valve catch the most popular set overlooking they own rules.
At least some of the items are real good and whining over cosmetics is a little silly. Is just the clutter what makes people a little unconfortable.

The Nyx set does more than just that, since he has spikes everywhere in the heat of combat it'll be difficult to tell if he has carapice up he always talks about armor quite often which this set lacks. It's not even about just the TA stuff, that QoP set has he using some kind of mace thing instead of a dagger. Dagger use is in one of her fucking spells.

Carapace is a more metallic color. I never said anything about the QoP set because I agree that it is a horrible set. Doesn't seem like you have any reasoning behind not liking the TA set.

I'm sure the spikes look awfully different then the ones on this item set, I will agree with you on the Queen of Pain set. It looks like someone tried too hard to make something cool then just flopped.

I like everything but the hat. It looks awful imo.
most of the "bad" sets are for heroes i don't even play so frankly it doesn't bother me
probably the only hero I play that got a bad set was nyx, but I don't imagine myself or anyone buying it, other than they expect it'll get alpine'd

Actually originally TF2 was supposed to be much gritter like the original but for a bunch of reasons Valve decided to do a [del]360[/del] 540 on graphics and go cartoonish instead of serious.

tl;dr none of the items added to the game confuse the sillhouetes or disable the ability to identify a hero quick, an item being bad quality doesn't mean it kills the game
Also if recongnizing is such a problem why don't you look up your HUD and see the 5 heroes the enemy team picked ok

I guess people like it...it seems really weird as a courier.
I like all the couriers added. Considering getting the tinker one. I would get the umm..robot one but 11.99 is a bit much.
I don't really have any problems with cosmetics, but I wish Valve would focus most of their attention to bug fixes or at least releasing quality cosmetics. Like for fucks sake, I hate that most people in the Dota 2 sub-reddit try to justify for Valve focusing a lot on cosmetics instead of bug fixes is because "making games is hard and adding cosmetics is easy", then they try to justify for Valve releasing shitty cosmetics by saying "cosmetics are hard to choose".
To be honest, I love Valve but I think they're not longer the company that we all loved them for. A great example would be the Steam update with the levels and trading cards and whatnot. There are tons of bugs in Steam, yet they decide to release something like this? That bothered me a lot.
Also, am I the only person that thinks that it'd make more sense for Valve to focus on fixing bugs before the International than adding stuff to the Compendium so that more people will by it? I mean hell, there are 1000+ bugs: [URL]http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=13563[/URL]
