What exactly is the point of the summer badge? Should I have waited and not sold my cards?

Just more XP, that's it
Unless you care about Steam level, sell your cards

I'd rather have more money to spend honestly
I just bought Tropico 4 while it was 80% off but I can't get the game to run, I've tried many suggested methods but nothing has worked so far, is anyone else having this issue?
Hitman: Absolution for £5 is a steal.
I wonder what's going on with my luck, everything I've voted on was the winner except GTA IV winning over P2 :v:

Team Fortress 2 beta. It's deleted at the moment.
Some great deals today.
Totally going to pick up Tomb Raider and The Witcher 2.
Another day of meh games/deals.
Was really hoping Age of empires 2 would be 75% off.
Does anyone know if BF:BC2's multiplayer is populated anymore?
I might get it but I don't want to end up getting a dead game.

Create a new steam account, buy the game to yourself through gift
What even is Hitman Absolution and should I get it or save my 50 bucks

Its a good game, but not a good hitman game
Create a new steam account, buy the game to yourself through gift
That would just make him have to wait 30 days after buying a game.
Edit:

"I played blood money so I know what a hitman game is like :downs:"
Mars: War Logs
any good?
I miss the sales background changing everyday, this getaway one is boring now
Why doesn't every game have an upgrade to special edition purchase, the tomb raider collection has the standard
Edit:
I mean the collection only saves like 2 bucks but that 2 bucks could've gone to the special
I'm just waiting for Metro Last Light

Its much worst than previous hitman games, no weapon customization, less possibilities to complete maps and ways to kill objectives, more linear, low replayability ...

confirmed for never having played the game before
Edit:
25 hours on record, I retract my statement in favor of: confirmed for playing the game wrong
Edit:
Not to shit talk l4d but how do you log nearly 2000 hours in the series with most of your game hours not even going over the mod tools' hours then complain about replayibility and linearity
I've never played anything in the Hitman franchise, so I guess I shouldn't get it?
Its much worst than previous hitman games, no weapon customization, less possibilities to complete maps and ways to kill objectives, more linear, low replayability ...
It provided a very engaging action/stealth story which was very enjoying and provided satisfying gameplay.
For the price it's at, it's very good.
I still have yet to actually play the original Hitman games so I'd feel guilty playing Absolution first :v:

That's what i said before, its a good game, but not that good if you compare it to previous hitman games.

The original Hitman games, like the real original Hitman games are harder to get into with the dated controls and emassed difficulty.
In hitman: blood money it's toned down because it seems like no one can see through your disguise unless you have high notoriety or have been spotted doing something suspicious, in Hitman: Absolution if you get close people can see you aren't in a disguise no matter what unless you hold the instinct button (which has a timed meter so you can't spam it) that keeps you from being spotted.
In the original hitman games however, at least in Hitman 2, come close and you're seen with no prevention :v:
Hitman Absolution brought back aspects of the original hitman games that were missing in Blood Money, and turned them into a slightly more modern and less-punishing form. Blood money is a fascinating game, but I'm tired of people who've only played Blood Money shittalking Hitman Absolution just because it doesn't have a dull sandbox proof story. It's barely any different than previous Hitman games. Blood Money is the real oddball, and judging by the way this one went the next one will be more like Blood Money.
Even if you prefer blood money's gameplay contracts mode is there.
I also hate how people whine about the point system, get over it. There's no reason to care about the points if you're having fun. The point system is for competitive players/braggers. No one's judging you for bashing a statue in the face of that lady for no reason in a room full of cops.
Edit:
That's what i said before, its a good game, but not that good if you compare it to previous hitman games.
Again, "I played blood money so I know what a hitman game is like"
Edit:
Hitman Blood Money - 7.5 hours
Hitman Absolution - 25 hours
You don't even own other hitman games, and your hours are out of sync with your arguments. I have more hours in the original Hitman game than you do in Blood Money, and I usually turn steam offline for that game. You should just stop.
Does LA Noire have GFWL?
It uses Social Club as stated on the store page
It's Kerbal Space Program tomorrow, then Reus, then Football Manager as the main games of the sale.
The background gives away the path.
