I'll definitely say this year is better than last year. I got a lot of things I wanted this year, like FC3 Blood Dragon and Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves.

From what I've seen all the daily deals and the flash deals have been the same deal, so it will probably be the 40-50%.

The difference is that Bad Rats is just a bad game, whereas The War Z is/was a legitimate scam.
Looks like CS:GO won, I expected Arma 2 to win but it's not like I really wanted any of these games anyway.

Well I mean bad games are fun in co-op because it's fun to laugh at a game's mediocrity with your friends. Cry of Fear is way better played solo.
Me and a friend just played some Kane & Lynch 2 and holy shit is the game bad. But it was bad enough for us to laugh our asses off.

Age of Empires II is pretty one of the best and most iconic RTS games ever. It's a solid buy, though I consider it a bit expensive for a game of such age with just a graphical touch-up.

Actually it's got a good price, and its more than just a graphical touch up. It's got bug fixes, steam integration, achievements etc
Plus you have it tied to your steam account

If you have friends to play with then get it. If you attempt the game using the AI teammates then you're going to have a bad time. The teammate AI is hilariously dumb. They don't do anything except follow you around and shoot. They refuse to do objectives or carry objective items.
