I want to get this but I know I'm gonna wind up with it in the same way I had L4D.
When I finally got it and was able to play it, all of my friends who used to play it moved on, so I had bought the game and wound up with nobody to play it with. So it was effectively a waste of money.

I've played it through with a friend and had fun. If you are a Resident Evil fanboy you'll dislike it though, since it isn't really survival horror like RE1-3.
So yes, i just confirmed with a US buddy, Bully and Dragon age are both region locked for Brazillian.

Payday is an excellent game and Payday 2's gonna be even better. If you like Killing Floor it's pretty easy to like Payday.
But they are not even a little similar.
They are quite similar in a few ways.
The main differences are that Payday is objective-based and Killing Floor is mainly survival, and in Payday you unlock guns as you level up classes instead of being able to buy them at any time like in KF.
The similarities are the simplicity behind the gameplay, which can easily equal to a similar experience. You run around in co-op and shoot stuff in a very fast-paced fashion. The enemies you fight vary in classes of their own and are quite distinct, sometimes the enemies can overwhelm you causing you to hold your ground in corners. The higher level you are the more effective your weapons are. You can use iron-sights effectively in both games.
To be honest I think Payday has more similarities to Killing Floor than it does to Left 4 Dead, despite how often times KF and L4D are compared.
