The demo/free version is not at all representative of the full game's features (the old old [I]old[/I] free survival test is a closer match) and I do agree that Notch needs to update it, but a year ago all you got when you paid was custom skins and Creative WAS the game, and people didn't complain that it was boring because it allowed you to be, well, [I]creative[/I].
You can make ANYTHING you want to and do ANYTHING you want to and people say the game is boring? It must take a real lack of imagination to do that.
If it has 10% of the content in the release, why the fuck would you release it to the public?
I don't believe Minecraft has ONLY 10% of its content. Its a very complex game, even in its alpha stage. Even the original Minecraft is quite awesome, and people have made truly amazing things with it. Which is why the OP makes no fucking sense. I've played on a lot of servers, not survival servers but normal ones, and I've never found a restriction that keeps you from building five blocks or higher.
This thread is more popular than the actual minecraft thread, shows how far the fan boys will go to defend their half made pseudo-game.
