I guess intermediate is probably a better word thinking about it. Basically I want to turn my crappy little levels where I just kill guys patrolling over a waypoint into something with actual objectives. I don't really have a clue where to start with that but I assume that's where the scripting comes into play?
Yeah pretty much. I can't remember where I started to learn scripting.

A tip is that most stuff has already been done in one way or another so use google to find stuff that you need. Start small with basic trigger scripting so you don't have to worry much about locality, move on to sqf files when you feel ready.
Does anyone have ARMA 3 Alpha Lite so I can see if ARMA 3 will run?

I thought it came out before then, I might aswell just buy it. It'd be worth it anyway since I plan to upgraded.
Took a couple of screenshots from the Fata map in Project Reality 0.16. Really nice, good interesting terrain and you can tell that the creator has a sense of detail

How many sq. km are FATA and that other one?
I clicked the Profan Six Updater Autoconfig and launched Six Updated with it... does this mean I am downloading all the required mods now?

Given that loading screens are where you use the majority of your I/O, this idea is massively inefficient and won't do a damn thing to give you more frames although it will significantly reduce loading times.
I would only use RAM Disk for a high performance database and not much else.

Fucking glitchy Arma grenades. Select smoke grenade, make the ACE grenade throw reticule show up, have it display smoke grenades, aim, throw, a fucking frag grenade comes out, kills 2 friendlies, nearby car blows up, kills 3 more friendlies.

Tarks mission, VIP mission in Clafghan. Some one managed to snipe someone form the enemy team with a grenade launcher.

edit2: the trigger only fires when someone picks up the weapon.
