Was playing Redux and came across a very funny PDA entry: You search through the PDA's contents and find a folder called "Paravin" The folder contains a number of text files entitled "Page 34" with various "Thread" counts noted You open one of these files, and start reading. It's not long before you very much regret doing so, as the contents are almost unspeakable. Nice one Thorny. :v:

The Armsel Protecta, or Striker. Whatever you call it is bugged in Redux. Either it dosen't drop from the NPC carrying it after you killed him. Or the game just crashes.

Okay, so i just got my fresh copy of Clear Sky. I set settings to max and it seems my computer can't handle it, because fps drops beyond playable. This game is old dammit, it should run fine on my rig. I finally venture out after adjusting settings, died from radiation apparently. I load autosave, i am back in town. Hmm, strange. I go to the quest marker and i need to go to... this bar guy again. So apparently, no one has bothered for making a autosave for this game. Then i finally manage to get to the outpost defense mission and... it crashes. Okay, what do you find appealing in this unoptimized buggy piece of crap?

I know the story, i've watched some gameplay and i don't find anything too attracting.

It's unoptimized, live with it. 3. I'm sorry you're not spoon-fed autosaves, do you want regenerative health, too?

I got used to have no autosaves from playing SoC so much.

Speaking of CS, I'm playing it again and it's awesome. I went and looked for Scar's VSS, and I can't wait until I can get it repaired and get some ammo for it.

Gameplay wise it is superior to both games, it falls short on things such as optimization and atmosphere imo [editline]07:18PM[/editline] Also that fucking godly Clear Sky base music. it for some reason perfectly sums up a hot and dry afternoon in the zone

Another glitch in Redux. Noah does nothing when you and him go to the fire village when he's supposed to lead you to the cool transporter anomoly in Zaton.

It's amazing, I just got it a few days ago.

The game has optional graphical enhancements that can bring amazing computers down to their knees, just because it's old doesn't mean it automatically requires lower specs. It does have autosave, for when you change levels that is. If you're so lazy that you can't hit F5-F6 once in a while then this game isn't for you. Yes there are crashes sometimes get used to it.
