It was day, he said it in english, he wasn't inured before, it was ad the stone ring in Aprogon
Also, we need something like "Strelokquest" (Like Brodyquest)

I'm in the basement at Yanov station. It's night. Every so often a massive blowout rolls through, it's awesome.

What stone ring? Is this Clear Sky you're talking about?

Yes, north end of the Aprogon (?)map.
Yeah Clear Sky

Camp out with some Stalkers somewhere in the night. The men talkign in the background and the noises really add to the feeling.
Is it that fucking difficult for the STALKER devs to add any kind of tutorial or explanation to the games? I tried playing Shadow of Chernobyl before but gave up after 30 minutes because I didn't have the slightest clue what anything means and was just completely lost and now I'm trying to play Call of Chernobyl and it just lets me go in some random field without explaining anything at all to me. I don't even know what 95% of my HUD means. Are the devs allergic to tutorials or something?
What are you talking about? Just go into the options and look at the controls. It's pretty straightforward from there.

I can hear everyone talking upstairs. Hawaiian is playing Firelake on the radio. The night sounds filter in through holes and chinks in the walls. It's very cozy :3:
Also, I wouldn't be surfin' if I were out in the middle of nowhere. I'd be bloodsucker food in no time, or (more likely) shot full of holes by Alpha Squad while my loner bros stood idly by.

I'm not talking about controls. I mean stuff like HUD elements and just generally stuff in the zone. For example, I only recently found out by reading that survival guide that the number near the mini-map means the amount of PDAs in the nearby area. The game never tells me that.
My retail copy of SoC that's patched to 1.0004 at my dad's computer has a funny bug, if a sound is playing within a certain radius I hear it like it was next to me.

I'm pretty sure that's in the manual.

Dude, READ YOUR PDA. There's a wealth of info on game mechanics, anomalies, mutants, areas, etc. There's really no excuse.
Also, Sidorovich gives you an ample lesson how to use your PDA if you don't know about that either.

Call of Chernobyl?
How about you read the fucking manual?
Read the fucking manual!
Group mentality, what can I say?
I'll just leave my little story here:

Ugh, installing CoP again. Does the -noprefetch thing still work? Gave me a good performance boost on SHoC, can't really remember from the last time I played CoP.
I'm getting raped by bloodsuckers in the Flea Market as I try and sleep to be able to use up all my money, so those fucking bandits don't steal it :(

Just get the mod that lets you keep your money/stuff/both in that encounter. It's bullshit and you shouldn't have to deal with it.

Holy shit. I just rode out my first Atmosfear 2 blowout outside. Just standing there, watching the blowout wave surge closer, the ground shaking with its movement, and knowing, KNOWING that it won't kill you...
Marked By The Zone is now my favorite achievment.
Wait, you can survive a blowout outside without anibiotics?
No.
Yes you can, if you've used anabiotics 3 times.
Use anabiotics three times.

Ninja'd. Sorry. Didn't see your post JieSibilant. Holy crap.
Opera for bloat & shiny.
Hey, Opera has wand commands, don't see firefox or chrome doing that now do you :colbert:
Yeah, being able to survive blowouts is awesome, especially because you can be in the middle of a fight and go, "ahahaha, fuck you guys enjoy dying from radiation."
No, weapon sway is absolutely stupid. An experienced stalker can hold a gun without any sway whatsoever, hell in real life I can and I barely shoot weaponry. That feature is useless and it's an incredible annoyance.
All of this. I cannot stand when games put in such a massive weapon sway. There's a reason in Call of Duty that there is almost zero sway, and it's because unless you're a muscle-less, anorexic twat you're going to be able to hold that gun straight.

Firefox addon.
It's why I like Firefox, I can just put addons for whichever feature I like.
I can survive blowouts, sprint forever, carry 100KG of gear comfortably, I'm a master marksman, and I no longer need to eat.
I think I've become One with the Zone.
dose any one know if theirs a stalker port for the xbox 360?
Anomalies still harm you :colbert:
PC only.
dose any one know if theirs a stalker port for the xbox 360?
No, there never will be, and if it does the world will have been partially disintegrated.
Except there are rumors of it in STALKER 2. :saddowns:
