Come on don't take the thread and then not use it properly.

It's not stealing, just use Amez' descriptions.
The OP is tiny man...
Are you calling me a tiny man or the post?
Hi, I have a question
My friend just bought call of pripyat, and I want to know: it's possible to play the entire campaign together? thanks in advance :)

There's no co-op only multiplayer.

As in Co-op? As awesome as that would be, it's not possible, sorry. SP only.

Good :)
So, I was annoyed by the fact that my personal stashes in Yanov and Skadovsk were filled with items that I couldn't sell and wouldn't make a profit off of by repairing and selling them. So, I installed a mod that allowed me to sell items to traders regardless of condition. However, now I can't buy any of the SGM items. :v: Is there any way to restore the original SGM files?

Hah I was just coming in to see if there was a mod for SGM that would just let me sell everything to one trader because theres no profit to be made repairing and selling and I have a bunch of other shit that I just want to be able to sell all at once. You could find out what files you replaced and ask someone with the mod to upload them for you that should fix it.
Re-install it, unless you backed up ;)

Yes there is profit.
Give all of your broken guns and armor to mechanics, drop everything in the the green box near them and talk to them. It gives them parts for upgrading your shit.

Condition of items does not matter.
There you go Thorny, I updated the OP.

Oh well yeah I generally drop all my leftover guns in there and tell him to scrap it all. I'm still not entirely sure how to use the scrap though, I have 10 spare boxes but it still cost me money to repair my things or attempt to upgrade. I need to find a way to haul over 30kg of guns from the lumbermill and 80kg of guns from the bandit base god damn slaughterfests.
Also mutants respawn and stuff right? I wanna go back and kill more zombies down at the lumberyard, feels so good to sit upstairs and snipe them off the hills

It's not supposed to lower your price or anything, it's just another part to mechanics that is required for them to do upgrades for you. So now you also need the money, the tools AND the scrap.
Good job Tint :)

Oh so its just another added requirement I getcha. I should probably start searching for the tools so I can upgrade properly, enjoying finding upgraded weapons on commanders and stuff though. Do you guys know much about the BRAZ addon for SGM?

Load it on bodies then carry the body, I'm pretty sure the npcs won't loot the bodies. They didn't in SoC but it might've changed.
Hey guys, you get to choose what's special about the new LR300 variant that Nimble sells in Redux! What's its story? What's so special about it?
Coolest idea becomes the gun!
Nimble: "This weapon is a beauty. Not only did it survived the first emission on the zone, it also has quite a history. For starters, the weapon was brought to the zone by mercenaries. None knows the mercenary that brought it, but all we know is that it was from someone that fought along clear sky, since when it was found, all rusted up, it had the mercenaries patch printed to it's side and on the inside, there was a barrel wich had a signature from (that mechanic from Clear Sky faction, dont remember the name, Grey, Gray...).
It survived all this long and it was found days ago with the outside all rusted, but the insides were in perfect condition, so they replaced the outside and some of teh internal parts, but not too many, it works almost the same way. Sure it looks like a normal LR300 on the outside, but inside... It almost never jams and apparently, it was modified to work like ACR... It's accepts both the 5.45 (basic warsaw ammo)and 5.56 (basic NATO ammo). But with those features, the weapon lost some acuracy, RPM and damage. A fine piece of work, but I was told that it functioned better when it was at the hands of that mercenary...
So whats it gonna be?"
Like ive writen, it's a LR300 (Name:"LR300 Bulletmaster") that accepts both the Warsaw and NATO ammo and has a great reliability. But unfortunatly Acuracy got decressed a bit, RPM aswell and the damage and you also cant equip a silencer. It might not sound like a great weapon BUT!
When you use the clear sky suit with that technitian from clear sky on the scientists bunker it triggers that conversation with him, BUT, if you carry both the suit and weapon it triggers yet another conversation after the suit conversation, like for exemple: "So, if you made the suit for Clear Sky, maybe you know something about this weapon" "My god! I'ts... It's... It's the old LR300 ive modified... How did you adquire it?" "I bought it from a guy named Nimble." "Nimble? He's alive? We were both in clear sky! Oh wow, I'm glad he is okay! But now, on to the weapon, that is the "Survivor LR300". It could use both Warsaw and NATO 5.x ammo. Hum.. But it seems someone replaced some of the internal part... Let me see... There! This should be the closest to the original! Thats a fine piece of hardware you got there, don't ever lose it. May it serve you just aswell as it served the merc." "Thanks, I'll tell Nimble you are okay."
At this point you got the LR300 Bulletmaster exchanged for the LR300 Survivor, with the same features, but now it has the standard accuracy, RPM and more damage (only slightlty). It also can use the Silencer again.
Oh and when you talk to nimble: "Nimble, I just spoke with ur old pal, Gray! He's on the Scientists bunker in Yanov." "He is alive! Thats great news! I'll go see him someday! Thanks STALKER!"
So what do you think? Shitty? Good? Utter Crap?
Also, sorry about the gramatical erros, but Im kinda late for work, I just had to write this before I forgot!
I've seen bandits loot bodies of dead mercenaries before i could get to them, however, once you kill them they will still have your ill-gotten goods.

I'm sure I've seen them looting bodies in SGM but I could be wrong they might have just been crouching next to it. But thats a grand idea just a shame they're far away from the skadorvski, could always cheat but wheres the fun in that

Great ideas - I'll definitely consider this for v2.0 :)

NPCs loot bodies in CoP, yes.
I'm sure I've seen them looting bodies in SGM but I could be wrong they might have just been crouching next to it. But thats a grand idea just a shame they're far away from the skadorvski, could always cheat but wheres the fun in that
They loot ammo I think, but I'm sure they won't loot weapons. [Citation Needed]
They'll loot everything, it's funny finding NPCs with an inventory FULL of shit after a large battle.
I think Presky and TFW should be in the CS mod list.
Load it on bodies then carry the body, I'm pretty sure the npcs won't loot the bodies. They didn't in SoC but it might've changed.
I think you got the games mixed up, NPC's could never loot anything in SoC.
In CoP NPC's even do it in vanilla on a regular basis.
Any mod that needs to be added to the OP or a description that needs changing?
Any mod that needs to be added to the OP or a description that needs changing?
Someone mentioned TFW and pre-sky for Clear-sky, I'd vote for SGM for CoP too but that might be a hassle having multiple links for it/braza/eng translation.

SGM mod for CoP.
Just got SoC about 2 days ago, been playing vanilla for a bit and then the complete 2009 mod.
What mods do you guys recommend for first time player? or should I just go vanilla.
Always, always vanilla first-time through.
Where's the link to sigerous mod?

Well fuck. I meant to delete the gamedata folder, but I accidentally wiped everything in the Call of Pripyat folder. Now I have to reinstall. :v: Will I be able to keep my saves and use them when I reinstall SGM? :ohdear:
