in shadow of chernobyl my computer couldnt handle full dynamic, it lagged alot, even in object dynamic it lagged a bit, but i can run clear sky maxed with enhanced dynamic lighting XD i dont get it

i read tons of horrible reviews for clear sky, mostly bad reviews because of the bugs, but i got it a couple days ago and as long as you patch it, its awesome, but i havent tried CoP yet, i recommend getting both CS and CoP if you want to understand the story because clear sky is a prequel to SoC and CoP is the sequel to SoC,and theres a fourth stalker coming out in 2012

I have a hard time agreeing with people who say "it's just the bugs!" It's partly the bugs, but keep in mind that there are still ones they never patched--I mean, faction wars is still completely fucked. Add to that the awful ballistics, shitty weapon degradation system, and awful endgame, and you get a game that's really not worth getting if you already have/are getting SoC and CoP.

Errors subtracted from your smartness, and (IIRC) if it was low enough you couldn't post. Then Garry removed it, along with the emotes. Then he broke Greasemonkey support for the site because people were using it to get emotes. Then he brought some emotes back but not all of them. :sigh:

I don't remember not being able to post if it were too low, but I always spelled everything correctly.

It had a flaw though, most people who had been here for a while stopped giving a shit, and you could see lots of posts with red underline as long as they didn't let it to reach 0. I, too, did this.

Instabans were glorious though.

Hahahaha, yes. That was great. As for those folks that accumulated lots of smartness--just have smartness loss on a sliding scale. If I have 10,000 smartness, one "d00d" would cost me 100 or something, whereas someone with 500 is just gonna lose 10 or so. I miss banwords, but it's not like people go around using them all the time now, and "nigger" still usually gets you a "racism" ban from some mod (lol TH89).
