Hey guys, can anybody recommend good graphical mods for CoP? Some that don't change the gameplay, just the graphics. And holy fuck this game makes me crap my pants like no other

I've played Penumbra, both of them didn't scare me. In this game, however, I feel like a weak little baby with a butter knife in hand in the world of hundreds of hardened soldiers who would kill me without a second thought, and a variety of monsters that would love to rip my head open and feast on my insides for breakfast. or maybe i'm just playing on the hardest difficulty [editline]01:12PM[/editline] oh and some tips about what to do at night? I don't have any night vision and the flashlight is shit. I've been ambushed by 5 pseudodogs son far, almost dead. And I'm in the middle of nowhere apparently, because no stalkers have crossed my path for the past 30 minutes.

I dont even bother to go out at night. Although Pripyat at nighttime is pretty fucking creepy, especially with those damn nighttime soundtracks.

I wish I could play something right now, but my computer is on his way to Cardan right now.

Am I the only one who actually sold the Gauss Rifle right after Cardan fixed it? I found it to be pretty useless. Especially when one has the M14 or any scoped rifle for a matter of fact.

Yeah, I used Lynx most of the time cause the ammo was easier to get. I kept the Gauss Rifle for the ending scene thing but never really used it.

Also IMO you should be able to put on a scope on any weapon. Even pistols and shotguns. In the real zone you would probably just stick it on with some tape or something. That would actually be pretty cool if NPC's could do the same so it won't be overpowered.

ITEM 62! IMPOSSIBLE! Bah.... *dozes off* Also Redux is crashing for me in the mission to retrieve the box for Snag, whenever you get any of the contents of the box the game insta-dies. Ctrl-v gives me 'stack trace:" or something useless. Problem on my end or for anyone else as well?

It would be the most useless and inaccurate scope ever.

It would be pretty cool to stick an ACOG on a silenced USP but I'm not really worried as I can always get a better gun that's not a pistol. I also tried using the Eliminator with a SUSAT and I prefer my SPAS with iron sights.

Ok, so I've been playing Redux some more and I admit its not that bad. Once I got it through my thick skull that I wasn't invincible, I adopted the, 'sit on the barge and snipe any thing that moves' strategy. Highly rewarding if I can grab the loot before those damn bandits. :argh: Oh, and the dogs. [I]oh god the dogs[/I]
