So I installed AMK and I'm at the car park shootan some bandeets, but I keep dying because of that annoying effect when getting shot, how can I remove it?

This might be better suited to technical support, but I figured one of you might have had this happen: I bought the Stalker pack on steam two days ago, and I haven't been able to run either game, at all. It will crash immidiately after booting, before any of the intro videos. I've searched on steam for an answer; enabling -dsound or -nointro, removing securom, redownloading, restarting steam or the computer, verifying game cache, deleting user.ltx or deleting the dll where it's breaking and verifying game cache again, but none of the options have worked. I get this bug in bugtrapper in SoC. I was still on 10.4, but haven't been able to update recently, Ati's installer has crashed on attempt to install. :\ Edit: 10.7 drivers are installing. Hopefully that will solve it.
