Does anybody know how to get steam community working with CoP? I think it might be the disk protection interfering with it or something so maybe if I get a no disk crack. Or does anybody know of anything else i could do?

Well, there's a version of AMK that works with 1.0005 if you really don't want to downpatch. Has some other features (AMK Arsenal, AI tweaks) too.

Apparently all enemies drop 25 grenades when they die, makes me want to try it even more.
I found a RPG launcher. It was my first visit to the dark valley. I had left the bandit head quarters in the north, for the factory. I used some acrobatic skills to get up the broken stairwell on the side. When I got to the top, it was sitting right there. RIGHT FUCKING THERE in the middle of the room. I went over and picked it up, nearly creaming myself. 100% condition and 1 rocket. So I went around and looked for a poor bandit to shoot.
I found nothing and went back to the room I found it in to look out the window for some guys on the ground, when out of nowhere, a bandit pops out of the wall and shoots me in the face. I die, load my last save, and the RPG launcher is no longer there. :frown:
I didn't even get to shoot it.

It doesn't matter. I mean, you can use a assualt rifle to take down a millitary hellicopter in this game.

Also I like how your equipment is damaged. Since you were heading to the center of the zone it would make sense that it would take a while to get there and that you would use up some of your gear and get some of it weathered and stuff.

I never understood why Degtaryvev gets such shitty starting equipment. He's a government agent, I'm pretty sure the military would give him some nice shit to survive on.
What version is the steam copy currently?
Steam version of SoC is 1.0005 unless you have already used hispano patcher.
Degtyarev apparently gets shitty equipment because they didn't want to give away that he was military but seeing as there are normal loners running around in far better equipment then it doesn't really make sense being a shitty loner when he could be an experienced loner and still not give away his identity.
God damn this is hard as hell.
No bandages or medkits and I am at that quest where you stop that transaction.

Uhh, I was kinda evil, and murdered most of the stalker groups I tagged along with in Zaton, do new stalkers replace them, or will Zaton be empty of stalkers for the rest of the game?
Hey guys my friend needs help, he's trying to get a stream of Stalker going but there is no sound at all he's using Procaster so is a problem with the game or Procaster?

I'd hit it.
I edited the text file for the player's name and what it says he is in PDA to Alexander Degtyarev (other stalkers have their names for their pda, why not him?) and his faction as Stalker (why would he broadcast to everyone that he is part of the military?)
Just finished up CoP with SGM and I gotta say it was an amazing experience.
SGM is definitely currently the best mod for COP. Its like the AMK of that game, but better.
