If I install complete 2009 will my save for vanilla work still with it?

Could anyone tell me "when" the compass quest is unlocked in CoP ? Been googling it, can't figure it out. Sorry for asking

I played it first time with Oblivion Lost. It was good for the most part and made the game a lot more skillfull but pretty much pissed me off when it screwed up the ending I got.

I think OL is better then LURK but that's just my opinion.

The game keeps crashing every time I try to give the steel container to the mechanic when using Redux. [editline]06:13PM[/editline] It crashes even when i give it to Snag and go further in the dialog. So i guess that quest is utterly broken.
