S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: If nobody will make it I will - Games

Never ever crashed with Redux, and im playing like a madman.

They couldn't aim for shit in vanilla, which i thought great. They're fucking zombies, their brains are already fried, how come they can do anything but spray and pray? I understand when a pro merc squad headshots me but zombies? Come on... In other news, i got a Groza and 300 ammo. I sniped some exoskeletonfag from like, 300 meters away with my epic sniper skills. I'm starting to feel like Simo Hayha here.

Haven't gone into this thread for awhile. What's going on in the Zone? New mods or anything?

My first attempt at sneaking out of the bloodsucker lair was unsuccessful... I can't even begin to describe the noise I made when I shined a light on the mass of glowing eyes of the enraged 'suckers as they piledrived grouse into a bloody pulp and then collectively swooped in on me through that narrow corridor. ...Such is life in the zone.

Set two at the stairs and then spray wildly with your rifle. None should survive according to my calculations, loner.

Everything aboard Skadovsk is gone as well as all stashes? Is this normal for redux?

Sheesh, I'm getting more memory crashes in PRIPYATAN than I did with SGM, which makes no sense at all. I can barely save without crashing, and I had to try to move from Zaton to Jupiter 3 times before I could load without crashing.

The car battery should replace the knife as a melee weapon, like how you can buy steel plated fists and use it instead of the knife in people soup.

I fround the only way to do things in redux. Kill everything that move's.

Im playing STALKER:SOC for first time, with the FF Mod. This game is very enjoyable. I just got my first AN-94 with a scope, i feel so powerful yet i still wear a leather jacket.

So, should I get SGM or Pripyatan? I think Redux is too hardcore for me so I wonder which one would be better. Also what is in SGM? There's not much info on SGM compared to Pripyatan but I'm still torn between both.

Is it really worth to complete clear sky first and then go to pripyat or should I go directly to it? I want to follow the main story line but clear sky is getting damn boring
