S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: If nobody will make it I will - Games

CoP Is the best one in my opinion, yet I don't like it that much because of the lack of side quests, but achievements with rewards and stuff is pretty awesome

It's the most polished vanilla, but the lack of repeatable quests may seem a little strange.

I killed an alpha squad the other day while holed up in a train cart, then I accidently started shooting dutiers that were hiding with them, I couldn't see the red on their armor from so far away ugh =(

I installed LURK mod, but was disappointing with how the medkits stopped working around the agropom area, so I deleted my stalker files in the steam directory and then deleted local content in steam. I then waited patiently for the game to download again, and started up some STALKER. Except, everything was dark, it seemed like the light sources were fucked up. I tried a bunch of different settings, but it stayed that way. The brightness/lighting is only fucked up when I enter the game, not in any of the menus or loading screens. I really want to play Shadow of Chernobyl again, so I want some help.
