I can only hope that women will look like the Metro 2033 females in armor from STALKER. Hooker-like females will completely ruin the immersion. I hope GSC know what they're doing so we don't end up with overly-sexualized skimpy big-breasted women running around with heavy weapons around the Zone.

Women are not approved because they weren't in the original games. Imagine if they were. You would have trouble if they took them out, as well. I don't have anything again hookers. Maybe they could add a prostitute or two, so it acts like the sleep function, only with a shorter time spent. Awesome rejuvenation you know.

All of women on book covers are good except for that hooker one.

Since I'm in Yanov, I crash every time I load a save (not the initial one of course) and since zombies snipe me from nowhere or loners shooting at me cause I'm draging bloodsuckers behind me... It's kinda frustrating. Any help ? I'm wondering if it's not just tham windows 7 that hasn't the stalker spirit. Oh and, are the achievements not visible in Redux ? I assume I should have got at least one from quests but can't see in on my pda. I really want to get the bandit boss achievement one, by can't find any f**ing veles detectors, specially since there isn't that sweet stash at the graveyard... feels like it's gonna take years before I ever manage that quest. First time I arrived at the scientific bunker, there was a blowout. When every one got out again, two mercs and a stalker from the expedition team died because of friendly focus fire on the far away bloodsucker at the near little swamp-pond. NPC seem to aggro a lot more in redux.

I don't think they're that stupid. Stalker is a lot deeper than most games who include hookers so it doesn't seem likely that they will throw all that out for a bit of fanservice and a sexy ass to put on the cover. It's likely that the females will be attractive but less of a super-sexy-action-chick way and more in a Lyudmila Pavlichenko kind of way. The damn exoskeleton mercs fuck you up, but what i did was jump out of the building through the holes in the staircase walls. After that i ran about 300 meters and started sniping the silly mercs trying to snipe me with autoshotguns. After that i walked back, took the loot and a fucking hamster killed me in 3 shots. Son of a bitch.

This is a dumb question, I know but I'm having a slight bit of trouble understanding the LURK 1.1 read me. Correct me if I am wrong, but these are the simplified steps I have gathered from the readme: 1. Copy gamedata to Stalker folder. Optional: *Copy optimized folder in graphical options into gamedata. 2. Run Stalker and enjoy. Do I pretty much have it right?

If you didn't do that optional step you would be loading up with the [b][i]extreme[/i][/b] graphical settings.
