Oh shit oh shit I'm on the final onslaught shit is getting epic man.
Respecced my character to a dual wielding Warrior Reaver Beserker.

Also, I'm raging so much right now, this boss made me ragequit.

Isn't that the final boss in the fade nightmare thing? That shit was easy as fuck. I remember hardly throwing any heals and I even boosted the difficulty to nightmare to make it a little more challenging.
I'm getting this game but I'm not sure which class I want to be when I get it.
Which would you guys say is more fun, warrior or mage?
Warrior.

Did you have alot of mana potions?

Mage has fucking powerfull magic, but the mana runs out way too fast.

I should go back to the game again and beat that boss, even if I have to turn the diff to easy.
I never had a problem with mana on my mage character. It's not really difficult to pump some points into your willpower here and there.
After 65 long hours I finally finished the game. That was pretty fucking awesome.
Respecced my character to a dual wielding Warrior Reaver Beserker.
I didn't like it very much. I dealed a lot of damage to only one enemy at a time and my stamina ran out super fast.
I am fucking shit at this game, I'm playing on the PS3 version on normal and I refuse to change to easy mode.
I'm a rogue with a real shitty crossbow and some real shitty swords. I am doing the training to become one of those dudes at the start, Duncan is in the group.
Got the game today on 360.
My story thus far:
I started out as a female human warrior noble(don't ask). Got my dog(named spike) and fought my way through the game, and got Morrigan, Shale, a Nun/priest lady, a murder human thing, and right now am trying to help in the economic troubles of the Dwarven empire.
Shit happens there, gonna kill a mob boss lady or something to help the dwarves and get them recruited. Shale, Morrigan, and the nun/priest make up my party.
You got the game today and you already beat the mage tower and are doing the dwarf part? Do you talk to NO ONE or just tab A to get through all the dialogue?

Mage Tower?
Whats that? The place I had to light the fire/signal?
I've been doing quests, but most of them don't show up on the compass so I don't bother. Trying to get the dwarves done with so I can go do what I want
I miss read that, I saw priest and thought of Wynne who is a healer that you get at the mage tower.

No, infact I only had lesser lyrium pots and I used one I think. My melee composed themselves fine, and my steup wasnt anything special, if not a bit gimped at that time.

Oh, I meant that weird religious woman you recruit early on.
Beat the game today.
[sp]Morrigan's "choice" really had me thinking hard for a good 10 minutes. I ended up preggo'ing her because I didn't want anyone to die even though I know the demon-baby is going to be some crazy ass shit in some sequal :(
Also meeting Sandal before the final boss fight was the greatest thing ever. "Enchantment?" "WHAT THE FUCK ALL THESE BODIES OH MY GOD WHAT DID YOU DO?!!?" ..... "Enchantment!"[/sp]
Okay someone help me out here. Death cloud says it's "leeching" entropic energy, but since I always use death magic anyway, I never actually paid attention to whether it heals you or not. Does it? If so, what's it's point?

It doesn't heal you, it just damages the enemies over time as they stand within it. It's incredibly awesome and you should definitely get it.

I just picked up this game today. I'm so terrible at it. Any tips?
Micro-manage everything. All of your party member's moves, movements, spells, everything. Even with a lot of tactics set up, the AI is completely retarded and wants you to lose.
I find the AI quite often just hang out around near me during combat, not even attacking, despite me giving the order to attack.
Also, one time, during the final battle, Alistair, Leliana, and myself all got the final hit on an ogre. The result? All 3 of us did the finishing move. At the exact same time.
Oh, Dragon Age. How hilarious you are.
I just got this for the pc and am on the quest to get the threeblood vails and get the scrolls form the archive

But it's a cool one.

I had the same issue. Teammates never followed tactics set out for them.
Is there anywhere I can just randomly battle shit, "grind" basically? I would very much like to raise my levels before I go into any more of the story.

Not really, as far as I know, nothing in this game respawns, though I think you could keep going from town to town and engaging in those random battles, that would be tedious as shit though.
Probably going to have to use a mod or use the console cheats to give yourself some xp.
Apparently I missed Leliana in Lothering, can I find her anywhere else?
Apparently I missed Leliana in Lothering, can I find her anywhere else?
No, if you've already left lothering, it's been destroyed along with Leliana.

Dammit!
I could always use some kind of mod to bring her to my party, but it would probably fuck up the game a bit.

Your character looks exactly like mine, which is a bit disconcerting.
