Does anyone know who I can give Andraste's Graze to? As a gift.
[editline]05:23PM[/editline]
Nevermind, I looked it up in the Dragon Age wiki, apparently it's for Leliana... FUCK LOTHERING FOR BEING SUCH A WEAK VILLAGE AND DIES BEFORE I GET BACK. :bang:
This is my second character and I keep finding stuff that I missed on the first time around. Just yesterday i found the mage collective or whatever. They have a whole set of new quests to do.

Yeah, anything with Andraste in it is for Leliana.

Well, no one else wanted them, they refused to, and it's a flower.
This game has like 5% replay value...
The side quests are repetitive "Find me this and I'll give you this much gold" kind of quests. The toolset is technically hard to use and there's not much you can do except create new areas (which nobody had bothered to do) and new stats for certain weapons. There's no new models or textures for armor and weapons. EA just release a toolset to make themselves look like they're supporting modding, but in fact, it's FUCKING difficult to add new models. The toolset's just there for show, not for practical use.
Dragon Age Origins is the fail at lasting longer than the main story line . Face it, there's no free roam. Even if there were, what the fuck will you do while free roaming in Dragon Age? You can't do shit. All you can do is run around. Unlike oblivion, you can use your weapons ANY FUCKING TIME instead of only when enemies are near.
I'm pretty sure modding was not really intended to do much. As i've said before, the toolset is there for make people buy the game, thinking it has replay value. All you're really paying for for the game is the the epic storyline. THAT'S IT!
EA always fail, and will always fail, trust me.
Show me another game that has a decent 60 hour storyline and I will show you how to make your shit turn to gold.
Just completed it 5 minutes ago. [sp]I was so immersed in the story, i actually felt bad taking Loghain into the grey wardens and letting Alistair leave to become a drunkard. I did have the magical bastard child with Morrigan which no doubt has something to do with the next game, though i'm not even sure there were many other options. The archdemon was easy as shit though, it could have been harder, it wasn't even that much harder than fighting Uldred.[/sp]
Anyway, I love this game and some of it's easier to spot graphical glitches.
also, this game isn't a REAL EA game. that's a feat to notice. it's just slammed on there for distributional services. AFAIK Bioware is owned by EA but internally managed, which is good because EA can't infect them with major fuck-upness.
anyone else having difficulties keeping your party balanced gearwise? my main char, who is a DW rougue backstabbing duelists wearing warden commanders outfit. outtanks alistair who is meant to be my pet tank.
he's just not able to wear the dragon scale armor and starfang longsword yet.
Leli is also just in some generic leather drabs. her role is archery.
any advice would be very welcome.
Just don't focus on your other members, just gear them and you'll live.

The mod tools can do far more than you've said, have you even looked at the Dragon Age Nexus? I think you're trying to pick out bad things so that you can continue to hate EA.

yes, but it makes me feel all hollow inside. i'm hoping to do a run of hard/nightmare next time and that would require balanced party roles skill and gearwise if i am not to cheese my way through:)

Give Allistair your strongest armor always, but give yourself the best sword. The Warden Commander shield is also one of the best in the game and maybe better than a few because it doesn't require farming a very strong boss and going out of your way to get it.
Just beat it. I'm mostly speechless. It was so amazingly epic, and the song that played in the credits (as of Bioware tradition since Mass Effect) was awesome and really fit the game. Everything about the ending just felt... right. Like, there wasn't a gigantic cliffhanger, despite the game constantly saying "BUT THAT'S NOT ALL THE WARDEN DID. STAY TUNED FOR DRAGON AGE 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO".
[sp]But the best part? In the ending cinematic, when you kill the Archdemon, your guy actually has emotions all of the sudden.[/sp]
Time to play through it again.
What should my next character be? :buddy:

Poster is 10 and hasn't played neverwinter nights. The game with thousands of modules, which this game is the sole successor for.
Neverwinter Nights..I had some fun times with that. I remember rolling a gnome and he was really fucking good at being a fighter and I wanted this Exotic 2handed Blade so I spend alot of time leveling to get the skills, buy the weapon and... "This sword is too big for you character" or something.
I was disappointed. :( Oh and DA: O is fucking amazing.
Am I the only one that finds this game stupidly hard? I've gotta do fights well over 10 times before I get a chance to beat one, and am currently stuck after 37 tries trying to kill some Dwarf lady with like 10 assasins around her.

Lower the difficulty.

Don't forget health potions.
And give your mage (Morrigan, most likely) a heal or two.
...
I did it...I finally got the Dwarf Treaty...
It took me 8 Hours of running around and fighting through dungeons, but I did it!
I brought Wynne, The Dwarf, Shale, and my warrior self, and even though the Dwarf kept dieing, Wynne and Shale lived.
On 360 is there a way to stop your party from attacking? We fell into lots of traps with the spiders and Worm-Raptors leading us into a swarm, when I stay back all ":|"
[SP] I killed Wynne at the Mages Circle tower but I let the mages become my allies in the Darkspawn onslaught. Morrigan loves me and Alistair hates me for blood magicking Lady Isolde. My character is a goodguy but does the quickest and righteous ways. Oh and he's an ass to kids too.[/SP]
Overall: Best game of 2009 according to me.
Everyone should always have Alistair in their party, because Alistair has great conversations. He talked to Shale about whether or not golems feel pain, and then, Shale asked "Is that when It yelps loudly and squirts blood all over?" Alistair then proceeded to give more examples of pain, and asked if Shale made noise when that happened. Shale made a "Ngnnhgnh" noise for when he gets hit. He said he doesn't feel pain, though.

Changing on the tactics?
The dwarf treaty is a bitch to get.
I feel you
and the fanatics trying to fuck you up every 10 steps is annoying
Orzammar honestly felt like what would happen if someone made one of the more successful Fortresses in Dwarf Fortress into a visitable location.

Don't set them to aggressive in the tactics menu.
The dwarf treaty is a bitch to get.
Fuck those dwarfs, it took me the same amount of time to get the damn treaty there as it did for the mages tower, red clif, and the elves combined.
[sp]"hurr the worlds ending but we will sit here with our thumbs up our ass till we get a new king"[/sp]
I got this game a few hours ago, addicted as hell. I noticed that it uses cloth physics but doesn't have ragdoll physics. That kind of bugs me.
I'm at the part where you [sp]defend that one village from zombies, my party and I keeps getting owned. [/sp]
A helpful tip, [sp] the knights up at the windmill are basically invincible. [/sp]
Which of the [sp]"to be kings" should I help in Orzammar?[/sp]
