Does anyone else love the dog to bits? I can't see myself taking him out of my party any time soon.

I like the dog and all but I find the humanoid party members to be better at what they do. It's not like the dog can disarm traps or cast spells but he's great otherwise though.

He could probably be more useful, but he's so lovable.
His dread howl is incredibly useful though.
Also, does anyone know why I can't seem to detect traps at all with my rogue? Is there some ability I have to activate? He has the second tier of trapmaking, I think.
It's just like, I'm running through some dungeon and BAM my entire party gets knocked down and set on fire. It's getting really annoying.
So, does the Dog's Overwhelm work just as well as every other monster's Overwhelm? 'Cause those dogs in Redcliffe Castle nearly killed me. Also, is the Dog immune to Overwhelm? Dog never got hit by Overwhelm to me.
I'm using Shapeshifter Plus so my Mage can turn into a drake. Shit's so cool.

I don't get enough initiative to play this game and I can't seem to advance the story at all without doing a whole bucket load of sidequests
I'm sorta stuck doing the sidequests around the first town you go to around now and I've been stuck playing on and off for around three weeks now

Ending "felt" like the ending for a game and I didn't really expect free-roam for any quests I didn't do. I got the 75% of sidequests anyways so it didn't matter. I was pretty surprised with the amount of content, finished with some 50 hours and a level 21 mage.
Return To ostagar was said to be released in december, it is now january. I wish they would hurry up with it
