It's sad to see BioWare steeped so low to pull a horrible joke from Portal.
Ha, I'm probably late with this but when you talk with Sten at the end of the game you'll go through conversation yadda yadda. But when you right click on him after the conversation he says. "Where's the cake, I was told there would be cake... the cake is a lie." That made me laugh a little.
Reminds me more of this than anything else :
It's sad to see BioWare steeped so low to pull a horrible joke from Portal.
doesn't that prove that it wasn't horrible?
Is anyone totally pissed off at the part in the Gauntlet with the platforms?! I followed a damn WALKTHROUGH and still can't get passed the damn third platform.
I hope what everyone said about this game was true because i just bought it and i am installing now.
That it's a good game? If so, that's true.
It's sad to see BioWare steeped so low to pull a horrible joke from Portal.
Not as low as when they steeped to making a Sonic game.
Is anyone totally pissed off at the part in the Gauntlet with the platforms?! I followed a damn WALKTHROUGH and still can't get passed the damn third platform.
yeah, it's a hard nut to crack... puzzles are their speciality but this one was a cryptic ballbreaker.
Not as low as when they steeped to making a Sonic game.
BioWare made a Sonic game? I've never heard of that.
@ Bomimo I tried for the better part of an hour.
I beat the the platform puzzle in less than five minutes. That one was easy. Now the puzzle in Honnleath... that's a different story. Damned sliders.
BioWare made a Sonic game? I've never heard of that.
Yep. I heard it wasn't that great, though.
I hope what everyone said about this game was true because i just bought it and i am installing now.
It. Is. Amazing.
BioWare made a Sonic game? I've never heard of that.
it was mixed reviews, some praising it some hating it. http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ds/sonicchroniclesthedarkbrotherhood [editline]09:30PM[/editline] uh, does anyone know where the hell dragon age is in in the programs folder [editline]09:30PM[/editline] i want to add it to steam [editline]09:36PM[/editline] no seriously there is no dragon age folder in the program files but somehow it runs.

I don't really know, I bought it off steam.
nope i checked those folders nothing
I beat the the platform puzzle in less than five minutes. That one was easy. Now the puzzle in Honnleath... that's a different story. Damned sliders.
Beat the platform ages ago, now i'm in the Dwarf city. I just killed the demon in Honnleath, to be honest.
Does anyone have any tips for not sucking at combat? In games like this, I always do fine up to a certain point where I can't go any further due to my party members constantly dying in battle.
Someone? Anyone?
Someone? Anyone?
Get a Spirit Healer mage. Wynne is one, or you could just train one up to there. Or just put potions in the hotbar, but the healer helps.
Someone? Anyone?
Pussy out and use a bow.
@ Bomimo I tried for the better part of an hour.
so did i... i ended up looking it up. i don't know what they were thinking. the design must have been lightly flawed. these things can usually be beat within the hour.
Is it just me, Or does it seem like Caridin is alive again in Dragon age awakening? http://dragonage.bioware.com/awakening Look at the very end, It looks just like him, He even has what looks like magma on him.

they're called Fire Golems... nothing to do with him... read the feature list.
Oh thank god, the last thing I would want is to face that bitch again. I've never missed Shale so much in a fight before then.
Someone? Anyone?
Pause literally every other second. Make sure everyone is doing something useful. If you have a spirit healer, make sure they're doing their job. Cast debuffs on enemies. Always flank enemies with rogues if possible. They do tons of damage.

I've just finished the game, [sp]having allowed Morrigan to preserve my life with her ritual. I'd be very interested to see how this plays out in future Dragon Age games. She pretty much said outright that the child would have the soul of one of the Old Gods -- which if I remember correctly were eventually discovered by the Darkspawn as Archdemons that went on to lead the Blights. Assuming that the Wikia is correct, the Archdemon in DA:O was Urthemiel representing beauty, but I'd be more concerned about the fact that Morrigan likely has access to the power of one of the gods of the Tevinter Imperium than what god in particular she has lurking about inside her. It seems safe to assume that after completing Morrigan's quest and killing Flemeth she knows how exactly Flemeth would take the bodies of her daughters -- perhaps she could be seeking to do this with her child? I'd be fairly confident that this was Flemeth's intent when she saved the main character and sent Morrigan with him or her, but it seems feasible that Morrigan could try to do the same with Flemeth out of the picture.[/sp]

Do enemies have a determined level in their own area or do they get stronger as you get stronger? I just went through Redcliff castle and all of those enemies where a bitch to kill. My party died very often, but now I went to the circle of magi's tower and am practically breezing through it. All the enemies seem to do less damage and take more damage than in Redcliff castle. Was I ment to do the mage tower first or is Redcliff just set up to be a more difficult fight than average?
I don't even know what a spirit healer is :saddowns:
It's a mage specialization.
