Is it possible to reset characters skills at some point?

This is probably what you want.

I haven't tried it though.
awesome thanks for the tips, guys :hfive:
oh, man. i just discovered something that made me laugh.
if you use sleep or waking nightmare spell on someone and kill them while they're sleeping. they'll end up just standing there untill the effect wears off, then just suddently 3 bhelen fanatics fell over while i was preparing to run along.
Now that I finally got my own debit card, I'm going to buy this game.
I bought this game ages ago, I got as far as [sp]getting the rogue on my side then getting shale (the DLC guy)[/sp] then stopped playing
I restarted as human warrior and gone 2 hander DPS it rapes quite a bit, and i get raped if theres loads of mobs, awesome game though, i still need to complete it lol.

Omg a dragon age expansion
Been hooked on this game for days now...
Just finished Orzammar
[sp]Went with Harrowmont since he seemed like the best guy, also that Broodmother is one strong son of a bitch[/sp]
I'm a human male noble warrior by the way, my party always includes me, Morrigan, Alistar and my dog (which I named Dave)
This game is awesome but shit man, I play it on easy and it's still really hard.
Easy is a good difficulty for me. I was just getting really annoyed with Normal. I could get through most things, they were just annoying and I didn't want to fuck up my experience of the game by getting pissed at it.

I'm in the dalish woods now and it annoys me that in EVERY combat situation I have to pause loads and strategically use moves, the combat is a real drag, though it adds substance to the game, which is good because otherwise I would have completed it in 2 days in an obsessive trance like I do every other game.
Easy can be tough sometimes, but I find if I leave it and come back to it it's easier.
And if anyone has difficulty with the broodmother...
[sp]There's a platform of rock in the centre, get Morrigan to stand there and use every damage based spell on the brood mother while you let all of your warriors attack the tentacles. When the dark spawn come turn all attention to them and repeat the beginning step once you've killed them. Don't worry if 2 of your warriors die, you only need one mage and one warrior to do this tactic.[/sp]
I have no idea what you guys are talking about, the [sp]Broodmother[/sp] was easy. It just took a really long time.

Really? I'm always pausing during my fights. Maybe cause I'm playing on normal, even though it's not that tough. My makeup isn't very good right now either, still working on it.. Need juggernaut make one of the casters an arcane warrior so I don't have two healers etc etc...
Im fucking LOVING this game, it reminds me of Kotor which gives me a huge feel of nostalgia

i've just ordered that game

Was hard as shit for me. The good news is that the ending of that fight was so fucking epic and satsifying. All of my party member dead, allister the only one left, about to die, I'm tense as hell and I manage to live just long enough to kill the [sp]brood mother[/sp]. Had I not used my poltices just right (I was out at the last moments), and stuff like rock salves, I would have been dead.
Fucking amazing game
brood mother was easy
i used that dwarf guy, alistair, my main, and wynne
all i had to do was control wynne and heal people(since the dark spawn didn't attack wynne they went straight for my warriors) and then they all had massive armor(except for wynne obviously)

Yeah, it was easy. I did it different though cause my current playthrough is a mage. I had most of my party sit back on the little island in the back half of the room (when you first walk in), and had Alistair and Leliana focus on the tentacles. I had Wynne keeping watch on everyone's health, and while that was going on I was hitting the brood mother with everything I had... cone of cold to freeze it, blizzard, tempest, inferno for when it was unfrozen, arcane bolts... I just whittled it down til it died.
Pretty much every enemy I encounter, I freeze with cone of cold and try to get Alistair in for a crit to shatter.
Just finished getting the Dalish, so now I only need the Circle of Mages. I don't want the game to end D:

it won't:)
Wynne's dead on Morrigan's behalve, I'm a rogue, Morrigan obviously can't come and I only have 1 bow that only I can equip, but I'm a duellist.
Lelianna has no bow yet because I didnt bother to equip her, the merchant doesnt sell any.
I'm royally fucked when fighting Flemeth hahaha.

Circle of Mages was my least favorite part of the game.
Circle of Mages was my least favorite part of the game.
My favorite part was the circle of mages(not the entire part)
I liked it because of the fade lol.
lore-wise, the dwarves are my favourites right now... i think it's the close relation to the darkspawn that they have. it's the only part of the game that shows you the reallity of the blight itself. the other places are just common "D&D style" villages in distress.
Dwarves are the real badasses
the above grounders can barely hold their ground yet the dwarves hold it every day.
with less numbers too

The Fade is why I hated it.
Fighting through the tower took me forever, and when I finally got to the boss instead of fighting it I got to run around in the fade for another forever.
Pardon the huge image, but I just took it and I love the kill moves. Usually I miss the chance for them because the mage kills them or something.

Awesome timing for Wynne to heal me.
