Do I need an archer? They seemed rather unnecessary. Also, my main character (a dwarven rogue) seems to be in a sort of rut. He can pick locks kinda well, and fight kinda well, but neither fantastically. Should I respec him to do one or the other? On a completely different note: I think it's unfortunate that ME2 came out so soon after DA; normally, after a BioWare game releases, people will be talking about it for several months, possibly years. But ME2 has overshadowed DA in a way.
Damn, i just redeem'd my code for the blood dragon armour but i didn't have Dragon age registered on my account, i registered it straight after redeeming code but it still says ... :ohdear:
You download it in-game. Just click Downloadable Content on the main menu. Also, you should probably register The Stone Prisoner too. :buddy: Also, I found RtO to be disappointing. I don't mind it being short, but there was really no story at all. It was just a hack n slash fest. Rather boring; next time I'll buy a cheap game on Steam instead. I thought RtO was even worse than Warden's Keep; at least it had some story. I assumed Bioware would have noticed that many people didn't like Warden's Keep, and they would have improved it, but no. I have no idea how something so simple got delayed so many times.
Oh RtO is out? I didn't even notice with ME2 lol [editline]09:54PM[/editline] wait is it not out? I can't see it on my DLC thingy

For me it was fixed by running the DAOriginsLauncher.exe (I think) from C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\ directly. Thanks a bunch, that did it! I'll get to playing that now once I've got the time :p

How odd.
God I hope they conclude the Morrigan plot in an expansion some time soon. It will piss me off if it's in a separate game because I want it to be suited to my character rather than being generic.
Oh, before I go and blow my money on something useless*, what DLC for Dragon Age should I get? *I've already pre-ordered the Dragon Age expansion.
Stone Prisoner is fairly good because it adds shale, although if you already had that I would go for Warden's Keep for the storage chest and Starfang.

Hell, they SHOULD. They HAVE TO.

[sp]She had better be in it, I've got some words for that bitch for dumping me and bailing out right after I killed the archdemon.[/sp]

This is really bothering me. I bought the Digital Deluxe verson over steam, installed all the DLC, and started playing fine, but now I am having random crashes, where the program suddenly says that it isn't responding and closes. I have no idea what is causing this. I've been looking around the net, some places said that I need to disable two cores for this game (I'm running a Q6600). I've tried, but it apparently hasn't fixed anything. I'm running vista 64 bit and SLI 9800GTXes--It shouldn't be a problem with the specs, but at the same time I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. If anyone knows anything that can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

[sp]I did it. Cmon, it would have pissed me off x100 if I or Alistar had to die, besides, If I can kill the arch demon pretty much single handedly then I think I can kill the child if he becomes a threat. Afterall the child will just have the archdemons soul except he will only be a child and not a dragon.[/sp]

Although that will definitely add some spice to whatever sequels they make so I plan on letting it happen on my second playthrough.[/sp]
I had some sort of glitch-gasm with Shale yesterday. First none of his(her?) talents specific to him worked. I couldn't change from stoneheart to anything else and none of his talents that went with stoneheart worked, the descriptions for them didn't even show up right when I scrolled over them. Really fucked up my first battle with the High Dragon. Tried to use Below which didn't work and the dragon just ended up hopping around squishing my party, the second time I used taunt which was still functional so the dragon stayed on him. That problem was fixed by quitting out of the game, but my second glitch was not, it corrupted my save. After returning to camp after my battle with the High Dragon I decided to talk to Shale. I right clicked on him. I ended up in some void where the game gave me the option to say the words to activate Shale... the wrong words. After the words didn't work, I found myself teleported to the very edge of the map the camp is in. I ran down the mountain back to camp only to find I was stuck on the wrong side of the invisible wall that is supposed to keep you from leaving the camp. I restarted my game, didn't fix it. I went back to the town that you activate him in to see if I have to go through the slider puzzle and stuff again, nothing. Finally I go back a few saves to just before I fought the High Dragon and found I was able to talk to Shale without the game freaking out. So I killed the dragon again (this time with all of Shale's talents working) did everything that I did the first time to get back to the point where I first tried to talk to Shale. All I could think was "Damn, good thing I tried to talk to Shale so early and didn't wait until after I did Orzammar from beginning to end, just do find out Shale glitched a few hours back."
Wofhedochzfsohdsohbvodxh The mages quest, erggggggg. :/ It's such a pain in the ass. Right now I'm stuck in the fade. I thought it was stupid how you couldn't straight up attack the Sloth Demon before he put you to sleep. I mean, you always see a "____ (Kill him)" option. It would've been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier. Just lolrape the Sloth demon and continue on. But nooooooooooooooooo we have to go into the fade.

I actually enjoyed the mage part of the game. The dwarves part was drawn out and the most boring IMO.
Is it just me or are the voices really quiet but fighting and cutscenes really really loud? I turned up the volume because I couldn't hear them talk well and then the cutscene with the dragon roaring came up and then I instantly turned off my volume.

I'm finding this game very strange to play... I don't know whether i'm enjoying it or not.. Only a few hours in. I might make a dwarf and see how things go...

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/The_Fade:_Lost_in_Dreams I just look for hints rather than read the whole thing. It's mainly a case of trial and error when it comes to mouse holes and spirit doors really.

I finished the fade part last night before having to save and get out of the game to sleep. I did find it much more apeasing after I found the Stone Golem power, so I could finally smash all those doors. :)
