Never really meant I dislike their teeth, just saying they don't take very good care of their teeth :v:
Well the game is medieval themed, so I don't think they had toothbrushes and shit.
Magic could solve their problems
UGH The Werewolf lair is such bullshit, there's like a group of enemies every 10 feet you walk. I just fought one of the most BS fight's I've had in the game. I walk into this big room and a damn Arcane Horror spawns. He's got unlimited mana and spams spells every two seconds. Not only that, but a minute into the fight he spawns an entire army of skeletons that somehow are resistant against mostly everything I try to hit them with spell wise. I put a force field on the arcane horror to put him out of the fight for about a minute or two (he resists all my cold and petrify spells), but MORE skeletons would spawn. I only just managed to barely survive the fight by constant use of force field and poltices/potions. The first two times I tried to fight him he would use some 20 second paralyze spell on me and kill me in two hits with some other magic. Everyone was almost dead by the time it was over. I'm not even to the main boss of the area and I just spent almost all my potions, poltices, and salves just trying not to get killed in three seconds by this guy. And the worst part? He wasn't even a real "boss" fight in the sense that he was more or less just a side-boss and dropped nothing amazing as far as loot goes. Hell I fought a dragon in another section of said lair that was much easier than him and the dragon had an assload of loot. Mostly because the dragon didn't summon entire armies of skeletons that are resistant against everything.
I just ranged him to death and used my warriors to kill all the skeletons

So far the most annoying area I've been in is the blood mage shack in Denerim. It wouldn't have been super hard but I already had about 3 death penalties per person other than Wynne by the time I got there. I had to set the game back to easy to beat the boss because Lelianna had 10 death penalties, Alistair had 6, I had 5, and Wynne had 3.

The only way I know of to revive a player is through the spirit healing spell which takes an assload of time to cooldown (aka more than how long a fight lasts), plus I have about 10 injury kits because they are everywhere.
I hope the sequel directly continues based off the choices we made. [sp]I want to go after Morrigan and my child[/sp]

At least for me, the skeletons don't spawn unless you go down the stairs.

Also the biggest pile of bullshit just landed on my head, Flemeth's health was halfway down AND MY GODDAMN COMPUTER CRASHED.

I set my party to stay put and I went just far enough head for him to spawn (but not so far that he spawns the skeletons) and I'd throw a couple of spells at him, and then run back to my party, rest until healed, rinse, and repeat until he was dead. Took a while, but it was better than getting raped horribly repeatedly.

Except this is how it worked. "Oh you're hitting me with arrows eh? Here's a fucking fireball that blasts your entire team apart and a paralyze spell just for good measure... oh and winter's grasp"
Nevermind, fixed it.

I used tempest and inferno which stopped him from casting spells aswell as taking electricity + fire damage, he died pretty damn quick
That arcane Horror only spawns skeletons if you go near him, and he teleports, so just use ranged to kill him
use a shit load of area of effect spells. I used tempest and inferno which stopped him from casting spells aswell as taking electricity + fire damage, he died pretty damn quick
The only AoE spell I had is Blizzard, which isn't very useful against undead seeing as they are resistant to it along with the fact the spell is mostly good against non-boss enemies that can get knocked down/frozen easily.

I just finished the Darlish forest quest. Should I do the Magi one next?
Oh my, I am an idiot, I [sp]summoned the High Dragon[/sp] and got my ass whooped because I forgot I had neither Wynne nor Morrigan with me.
[sp]Until I realized you could split her from the rest of her dudes, Ser Cauthrien was kicking my ass, 3 hit KO'ing party members like no-tomorrow. It's mainly my fault for getting so many DP's. As a mage I thought I would be able to run into a room and just blast everything away. It doesn't work
Yeah I did it on easy too. Also some of the Revenant fights there are I have to do on easy.
I'm really thinking about getting this game, what games does it play like? I find it hard to base my opinions off of gameplay videos. [editline]07:34PM[/editline] I decided just to go for it, tis the festive season and all that shit.
Apparently Dog is like an anti-mage missile with two easy crowd control abilities and also doesn't have a level/attribute cap. Going to try using him on another play through.
[sp]Okay, so what happens if you actually go to kill him?[/sp] Is there a site where someone's logged all this down? It would be so interesting to read this ahead of time.
I killed him and the only annoying thing i noticed is that Alistair disliked my action with a huge amount of points (-26 iirc). I need to start making him happy cause he's my tank and he's really pissed off with me at the moment. :frown:
I went through most of the game with Allistair at -70. I don't think he can leave your party on account of him being somewhat of an important character in the story, but I'm not certain.
Has anyone found what the most ideal ending would be (as in, combination of all the choices makes for the best possible ending for every race.) Also, am I the only one that single-handidly took out the [sp]group of 15 soldiers and one mini-boss sent to capture you and through you in the fort after rescuing the Queen?[/sp] Serious, all my squad mates were annihilated in the first 3 seconds, I survived since my character is concentrated badass.
Is this game difficult to run on max settings? Just wonderin cuz I run it on max settings, and it runs great.
Nah, the amount of 512x512 textures makes the requirements staggeringly low, although the game has a memory leak, so over time you'll slow down and after about 30 minutes your loading times will literally go over 10 minutes per area.
When i think Dragon Age, i think gay sex.....
