Nah, the amount of 512x512 textures makes the requirements staggeringly low, although the game has a memory leak, so over time you'll slow down and after about 30 minutes your loading times will literally go over 10 minutes per area.
Well my computer has a lot of memory, so I don't think that a memory leak would be a problem.
Well my computer has a lot of memory, so I don't think that a memory leak would be a problem.
You can have as much memory as you want, a memory leak will slow you down to fuck.
Yeah, the first time I played all the load times were about 1 minute max. Now it just blue screens
Should I play through the whole game with this guy? http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Screenshot20091209184936249.jpg http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Screenshot20091209185221089.jpg
Yes. I'm in love with this game, i've played it for at least 10 hours since i got it, two days ago. I'm a Warrior Reaver, level 10 and i just [sp]Got the urn of ashes from the temple to save Arl Eamon and became some sort of dragon lover along the way[/sp]
What should his name be?
It wont let me register my game on the BioWare site, says my CD key isn't correct? Anyone had this problem?
What should his name be?
Assface McGee
Assface McGee
I can't change the last name, but I could make it Assface McGee Cousland.
Well my computer has a lot of memory, so I don't think that a memory leak would be a problem.
You should be fine if you play it for awhile and nothing changes. I've been playing it in 6+ hour chunks and my load times have hit 5 seconds at the most. Perhaps I don't get a leak, if I do, it has no effect.
What should his name be?
Billy
Im thinking of buying this game. I was wondering, is it an open world like oblivion, or is it a sort of set path RPG like dark messiah.
It doesn't have an open world like Oblivion does. Just think of all the previous BioWare games like Mass Effect and Jade Empire.

Lothering is worst for loading screens, both the inn and the chantry have them, i entered them both several times before leaving that place
Lothering is worst for loading screens, both the inn and the chantry have them, i entered them both several times before leaving that place
For me, traveling between Ostagar and the Korcari Wilds was the worst I've had so far.
He only leaves your party if you make a terrible choice. [editline]06:27PM[/editline] Like recruiting a certain motherfucker
Who would this be? Because I haven't come across him nor everyone I CAN recruit.
Just fought the broodmother. Oh. my god. Not to mention the bitch had 1/6th or so health left, when all of a sudden I find most of my party dead except allister. Allister would have died too if I didn't use my crusing prision [sp]before she would have ate him doing an insta-kill[/sp]. I only survived by finding out after I used all my health poltices up that I actually had a couple of potent health poltices in my inventory along with rock salves. With no health poltices left allister finally does the finishing move before she kills him. Intense.
Who would this be? Because I haven't come across him nor everyone I CAN recruit.
Grim spoiler: [sp]Loghain[/sp]
I hate insta-kills, they're goddamned bullshit. As if the bosses having ridiculous health and damaging moves wasn't enough.
The key is you have to use interrupting spells or attacks before the insta-kill move happens. Such as freezing, petrafying, crushing prision, etc. And not all bosses have insta-kill moves. The harder ones do though.
Grim spoiler: [sp]Loghain[/sp]
[sp]As if it matters at that point; that happens at the very ass end of the game.[/sp]
Bhelen's face makes me want to punch him [editline]06:10PM[/editline] [sp]Especially after he framed me for Trian's murder[/sp]

[sp] Can you make Loghain a grey warden? I felt bad having Alistair kill him.[/sp]
[sp] Can you make Loghain a grey warden? I felt bad having Alistair kill him.[/sp]
[sp]I believe that's what they meant when they were talking about recruiting him.[/sp]
[sp]Don't look to deep into it, in the end he is the better leader[/sp]
[sp]didn't he mass murder the casteless, not to mention execute his adversary without any valid reason and against your counsil?[/sp] next time, i'll be taking the conservative 4 class-system communist advocate instead.

With him, [sp] Orzammar completely cuts off from the surface, and the civil war against Bhelen rages on, his support also drops and he dies of sickness, and Orzammar collapses[/sp]
Does preserving the [sp]Anvil of the Void[/sp] help the Dwarves, or does it only hurt them?
