Dargon Mage: Oranges [editline]02:11AM[/editline]
This is buggest the hell out of me: I have to turn my volume almost to max to be able to hear anything. What am I doing wrong?
My game has insanely low volume too.
i was surprised that [sp]Loghain[/sp] can join you all the endings leave you with a bitter aftertaste, [sp]Alistair doesn't really seem to be moved by the fact that you die, unless you are a woman which in case all he does is cry. You have no dialogue option to show that no, you are not happy at all that Alistair is dead, and if you both live the entire old god being born thing is a bit sad.[/sp]
Blood Mage isn't all that good anyways as far as I know. My mage took it, yet I never actually ended up sinking a point into it because there was always a better spell available. How is arcane warrior? I wanted to roll with it, but I didn't find out how to unlock it until recently on my 2nd playthrough as a warrior. That scene was pretty cool. If you have the deluxe version, you can find that .mp3 in your dragon age/bonus/soundtrack folder, it's #13.
After sinking money into a good staff and since I have no points in STR at all, I can't make use of Arcane Warrior. Although if you can get the very last spell, it doesn't matter because you become practically invincible. [editline]02:38AM[/editline]
I thought the scene was cheese as hell. Mostly because the voice of the singer clearly was not the voice of Leliana and the animation of the actual singing was really weird and out-of-the-blue.
All the animations in this game are weird, they didn't spend a lot of time on Leliana's animations at all, big deal. (Notice the way she walks?) The song was beautiful, and it fit into the story since she's a bard, why wouldn't she sing in front of a camp fire? [editline]02:39AM[/editline]
"Those are nice boobs." uh... thanks alistair?
Got these implants just for you baby!!
...since I have no points in STR at all, I can't make use of Arcane Warrior.
You don't use STR for AW. You use Magick.
You don't use STR for AW. You use Magick.
Combat Magic - "While this mode is active, the arcane warrior channels magic inward, trading increased fatigue for an attack bonus and the ability to use Magic to determine combat damage. Aura of Might and Fade Shroud improve the effects. Additionally, regardless of whether the mode is active, an arcane warrior who has learned this spell may use the magic attribute to satisfy the strength requirement to equip higher-level weapons or armor." Okay... Sorry. I miss read it. Still, doesn't this mean I would have to start using a sword or something of the like? If you can, explain it a little better for me? I don't completely get how this works.
My game has insanely low volume too.
Nice to know I'm not the only one fucked by this.
Okay... Sorry. I miss read it. Still, doesn't this mean I would have to start using a sword or something of the like? If you can, explain it a little better for me? I don't completely get how this works.
Instead of using strength to determine how much damage you do or what armor you wear, arcane warriors instead use their magic, so something needing 28 strength to wear turns into something that needs 28 magic to wear.
But be aware that most armor, especially heavy armor has very high fatigue penalities. If you have a fatigue of 5 vs a fatigue of 35 (from wearing armor), all of a sudden all of your spells cost 2/3rds more to cast due to the increased fatigue. Not to mention, activating sustained abilities (like frost weapons, arcane shield, etc) will further increase your fatigue and the cost of your spells.
I picked Arcane warrior on my mage yesterday but i didn't stick any points in it yet. Got a aweseome Arcane warrior sword but whenever i try to fight with it i miss so much i quickly swap back to staffs. What do i raise to make my mage hit more often?

How do you unlock Arcane warrior? [editline]01:50PM[/editline] Actually I think I remember. Wasn't it in the ruins that the werewolves hide in?
Yeah just agree to share your memories with the phylacetry and then destroy it.

And that is why my dual weapons massive armored warrior is physically possible.
I would love to get a replica of some of the heavy armor in this game in real life, to wear to the Renaissance Festival or something.
I would love to get a replica of some of the heavy armor in this game in real life, to wear to the Renaissance Festival or something.
I'd love a real or a replica suit of the Legion of the Dead (or somthing) armour. That shit kicks ass.
The Soldier's Peak DLC is fucking amazing.
 Also, I'm raging so much right now, this boss made me ragequit.
That guy wasn't that hard. Problem is it looks like you didn't focus on one tree of magic. Cone of Cold is a god send... if you diversify all your magic too soon without focusing on getting atleast 1-2 higher-tier spells unlocked you'll have dozens of "okay" cheap spells and no good heavy hitter/debilitizing spells like cone of cold or mana clash. [editline]02:14AM[/editline] Ah semi never mind, it does look like you had firestorm unlocked. Though AFAIK fire doesn't do all that much against most demons.
Morrigan has a pretty badass outfit, I'm not gonna lie.
She's also hot. [editline]02:39AM[/editline] for a collection of polygons.
She's also hot. [editline]02:39AM[/editline] for a collection of polygons.
With a mod to make Leliana look better, I prefer her. Morrigan is a bitch, and as far as I know she's not a lesbian.
I don't think she is. Which is really a shame. :fappery:
With a mod to make Leliana look better, I prefer her. Morrigan is a bitch, and as far as I know she's not a lesbian.
It's the bitch part that I like.
I can't find any boob mods that aren't just transparent stuff, someone assist me in being a nerde.
Get natural bodies. It also makes males nude too.
With a mod to make Leliana look better, I prefer her. Morrigan is a bitch, and as far as I know she's not a lesbian.
The bitch in her makes her a unique character, deviating from most of the cliche female fucks in the other BioWare games.

Morrita has Cone of Cold though, problem is, I lack mana potions, and those two chunks of something weird that fills up my health and mana doesn't help me much. [editline]02:42PM[/editline] Anyone with a working toolset? I need some help with this, since I can't get the toolset to work.
- Locate your save folders in Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters\(name)\Saves - Choose the save you want to edit and open the DAS file in the toolset - Click the box next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR, then SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR, then SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE - Find SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME and edit the line on the right hand side to read "ef_luciface02" (without the quotes) - Save the file.
Does anyone know is the new patch fixed the memory leak?
This game is addicting and difficult. I just started as a rogue dwarf, commoner. Fun game. I am now level 6..almost level 7.
I must have set up my crew badly the first run, some bosses I have to switch from normal to easy, or it just won't happen. Hopefully my next playthrough will be better, nearly done the first one I think. [editline]06:30PM[/editline] Argh, I can't download mods because the dragon age nexus won't fucking send me an email.
