I was put up in competitive matchmaking against people who killed me in less than a 0.01 second I swear
same, ended up going 12k 21d on nuke today because i got shot in the head the second i rounded a corner by everyone on the opposing team
Well there are a ton of hackers with the Valve system. VAC is a bad anti-cheat. That's why if you're seriously looking to get into the competitive scene, I would recommend you play ESEA. Better players use ESEA, and the anti-cheat is good. Granted, the AC isn't flawless, people still try and cheat, but the frequency is much less, and they are caught quicker than VAC.
http://play.esea.net/
I did look for the ESEA plugins but it turns out that becoming premium is fucking expensive to get at the plugins
I did look for the ESEA plugins but it turns out that becoming premium is fucking expensive to get at the plugins
we love you anyway leach <3333
It's $6.95 a month... That's expensive?
isn't it cheaper than cevo?
Unless things changed, CEVO is just a league. It doesn't have a pug/scrim system like ESEA does. They both have anti-cheat systems superior to VAC, but ESEA has more top tier players and teams.
Do VACs even get updated? I thought they just collect multiple data and make sure the person is hacking before it bans the user. People told me not to get esea until you get into distinguished. I guess if it actually does become f2p, I'll have to start saving up some money.

There are private cheats that you have to pay for that take a long time to get picked up by VAC. As far as ESEA goes, yeah, it's going to have a sharp learning curve for people who don't know competitive too well. However, in my opinion, the best way to become better is surround yourself with better players.
so is there a match tomorrow?
