This doesn't surprise me. Valve released both Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2 in the course of two years. That's what I'd call busting hump in Valvetime. They deserve a break. They probably will lay low for a while to actually work on Episode 3/HL3. So really, this is good news. [editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
Wasn't there, about a month back, an image Valve released of a bathysphere that everyone assumed was related to Episode 3? Whatever happened to that?
http://junkyard129.com/forum/index.php?/topic/826-remember-that-unseen-valve-concept-art-here-are-28-close-ups-speculate-away/ This?
I'm okay with them waiting to release it until I get a new video card and processor, soooo considering I have to earn the money... two more years.
If they announce a new game that isn't EP3 after DOTA2 I am gonna go nuts
It'd surprise me if they weren't working on EP3/HL3 before EP2 even came out, given how they originally planned to keep the episodic structure.
