The megathreads can easily get over a thousand posts within an hour. It is literally impossible to hold a conversation in it unless you spam refresh and don't do anything else at all. Seriously, I don't even bother reading anything besides the OP for the latest secret update because it moves so fast.

We will never get out Subforums back. We use them too little.

We continue to make polls for subforums but it has been answered more times then I can count. There is no need for a subforum because all of the information can fit into a Megathread.

Minecraft has its own official forums.

Megathreads are just bad ways to organize information. Everything's scattered, and conversations cover other conversations, and nobody wants to read several pages of shit/pictures/off topic posts.
