alright. i'm gonna be working on getting narrow on all of the piracy skills. you guys can help get our first ship (which will be a sloop, we will start slowly) by saving up some PoE. It will cost about 56000 PoE worth of doubloons (20 for the delivery fee) plus 10k for the actual ship. i'm not asking for your money, just save up so we can pillage once i have the stats for a captain.
I can give 1,000 if you want, I want to have some money for myself to buy some actual good clothes for myself as well.

It's gonna be a while until the crew starts, since it's a lot of PoE for the ship, and Shorty has to get his piracy skills up there, and that takes a while too.
Just make an account now, and play with us on Navy ships/random pillages until the crew can actually be started.

I used to play this ages ago. I started when viridian was the only dubloon ocean.
I stopped playing when I realised that large chunks of my life were disappearing while I was waiting for ships to leave.
I went back about a year later and really got into it again,became FO in a decent crew and ran an ironmongers for about 2 months. But I quit again when things in the real world became important again.
Great game, but ridiculously time-consuming. You can spend hours starting a pillage, then if you need to stop it was all wasted.
It was a good game from my experience. However, getting even a few doubloons was a hellish task, so I left the game. You barely get any money from large ships... and almost nothing on small ones. Sure puzzles were fun, but they got annoying after a while. Especiall if your puzzle wasn't needed (waterpump for example).

You'll get used to how they work eventually. They feel quite simple after a while.
You might find that you will never get used to some of the puzzles though. I never liked bilging, I was pretty decent at every other puzzle.
And before people say that bilging is the easiest puzzle in the game, it's the easiest to do badly. To actually set up combos and be useful is more difficult than clicking randomly and hardly doing any pumping.
This gives puzzles a good name. :fuckyou:
But, it gives pirates a bad name :sigh:.

Logout, and on the login screen, you should see "Ocean: OCEAN". Hit change, and you'll be able to change the ocean.
