What do you mean the bed looks weird. As for the mineral blocks there's not too much I can do about this.

I didn't change the brown mushroom. I liked the smaller look to it.

Maybe it's just me, but half of the bed looks all dark then all of a sudden it goes bright on the second half. Get what I mean?

As much as I like this pack, for the mineral blocks, I still prefer Glimmer's. You'rs doesn't really fit with buildings, but if you can make them into actual blocks with certain look, then okay. If not, most likely I will combine this pack with Glimmer's, specially for my Deepground project. No offense.

I am thinking about making the mineral blocks more like some sort of building piece. Like iron being some sort of metal support or something.

I made cactus. I included a variant with no flower for those with no soul.

I love the cactus, but yeah the mineral blocks really need to look like building pieces, especially the iron blocks since this is supposed to be a steampunk pack, you really need to do something steampunkish with the iron blocks

I think the soul sand faces need to be more brown, and the red veins in the glowstone look really out of place; I think that glowstone needs to look more manufactured.

Maybe make the iron blocks be a iron box with gears and stuff on it (maybe encased in glass) Perhaps the same could be done to the gold blocks too.

Iron makes a good building material in real life...
In addition, Iron makes a great building material in Minecraft.

This isn't real life, I was talking about the texture pack. And it's a very ineffecient and ugly building material ingame(assuming you use the default pack).

Maybe the sides could be riveted panels and the top and bottom a view of inner machinery?

Also, I updated both the glowstone and soul sand. I made the glowstone into more of a crystal block and blended the faces in the soul sand.

Nether looks much more suitable now. I like the default mineral blocks better, but these textures made the 'thud' sound of placing a mineral block seem a lot more fitting.
