Why isn't there a PC port of Red Dead Redemption already? - Games

I'm fine playing both on my xbox if they don't port RDR... Oh and the people who think pc gamers expect stuff like this, why not? What makes a console gamer more deserving of something like this when PC gaming has been around much longer?

At least they are making Max Payne 3 for the PC, the PC versions of Max Payne and Max Payne 2 made them what they are.

RDR wasn't entirely developed by Rockstar North as far as I know, and LA Noire was only published by Rockstar, so maybe that's why. Or maybe the 'pc version after 6 months' thing is exclusive to the GTA games, who knows.

All i meant is that they aren't afraid to pull off "controversial" stuff, so the Hot Coffee shitstorm probably didn't really scare them as much as it entertained them. Fear of controversy (and modders) would be my last guess as to why it's not released.

plus you don't need that strong of a computer to run it better than consoles heck my now ~$350 desktop with an Athlon II x2 and a 5770 can run it ~25 fps at 1080p, high settings, quarter sliders especially after patches it wasn't that bad of a port by today's standards

it also plays really well at 25-40 fps oddly. it is nit as choppy as other games due to the cpu lagging not the gfx card

Because: just looking at Grand Theft Auto IV's sales statiscts: GTA 4 PS3: 7.96million GTA 4 360: 8.84million And the PC? Well: GTA 4 PC: 0.69million (+ digital distrubiton makes it ~ 1.7-2mil) Yeah. No way Rockstar is ever making a PC game again :( Just in case anyone is still hopeful.
