Kurt Zisa was easy, The Phantom was harder, but still kinda easy. Sephiroth was easy in both PS2 ones, I haven't finished the GBA or the DS ones but I do have them. I'm still in scenario one (Doing Aqua first, although the order is meant to be Terra-Ven-Aqua) for Birth By Sleep, playing Proud Mode because I want a challenge without it being obnoxious like Critical Mode. The secret boss in this one is finally meant to be a satisfying challenge.

Are you fucking insane. Sephiroth in the first game was near impossible on hard (i'm amazed I actually beat him).
First one I had no real issue with him Kingdom Hearts 2 however, I got raped so many times... took me so many attempts (at about level 65, then I ran off, levelled up to about 80 then went back and slaughtered him :v:
Any information on a Kingdom Hearts 3?
I really loved the first one but I just couldn't get into the second one. It was just so weird.
I loved them both.
KH was my first ps2 game And when I got the PSP one I was like WTF WHO ARE THESE GUYS?

Jegus shit it took time. I tried to beat him for a week I think. I don't remember :frown:
Kingdom Hearts, home to one of the most challenging bosses yet.
what? I can't say something just because someone else already said it?
No, what I meant is that your response to the PSP game is my exact response to KH2 :colbert: [editline]04:40PM[/editline] It's funny because it's a coincidence.
This series lost major points with me because they changed my favorite Final Fantasy character's name. Squall is way cooler than Leon.
They didn't change his name, he just uses that as his nickname. :v: They mention that in the game.
I know, but it just doesn't feel right. "Hurr, don't call me my real name, it hurts." It also didn't make any sense that Selphie, who is from the same game as Squall, and is almost the same age as him, is on Destiny Island as a kid.
The worlds they come from are not tied to the games they were in :\ [editline]05:03PM[/editline] You expect a game with Donald Duck and Sephiroth to make sense?
Here starts my opinion on the ones i have played, the first and second Kingdom Hearts. The first was amazing. I liked it, especially the colosseum. Sephiroth was amazingly tough and i didn't know how to beat the Ice Titan before searching the internet for the strategy. Sephiroth himself was quite easy, but challenging at lvl 40 and a Keyblade, goddamnit. The plot was great, pretty damn original in my opinion and the ending was pretty satisfying. Now, Kingdom Hearts II is where i lost my nerve. I didn't like it that much, mainly because Sora and Riku are now apparently buttbuddies and Kairi, despite being fairly attractive by japanese standards, can't get together with Riku OR Sora. Also, the plot development was kind of retarded, the add of Nobodies was pointless and the Organisation XIII was, at least in my mind stupid. For instance, why is it called XIII if you only fight what, 5 members? Should've had all 13 which you had to fight in a row without pauses. Now THAT would've been challenging. The remaked worlds had some interesting challenges with a new set of heartless, but i really missed the Traverse Town and that Moogle shop where you could craft Ultima Weapon. Damn, i loved hunting items for that. Anyways, The Underworld Coliseum had it's share of nice stuff, like the fight against Cloud, Tifa, Leon AND Yuffie all at the same time, which i found a bit challenging. Sephiroth was a bit harder with that fucking Heartless attack. Going up in the air was a real troublebreaker without some abilities to abuse, and the meteor one is impossible without Glide LV3, disregarding stupid tactics like spamming reflega and trinity limit. The reaction commands made some battles way too easy, for instance the 1000 heartless battle. It was just super-easy grinding with the reaction commands. Without them it was actually challenging, assuming no healing is used save for the health the enemy drops. And while some fights were interesting, such as Xigbar and the final Xemnas, most of the Organisation XIII fights were boring. The forms were a nice add, though. I loved grinding them and the final form's chaos formed by dual keyblades and massive combos was pretty damn entertaining. I have to say Wisdom Form was my least favourite and Antiform was my favourite, just because it's appearance and animalistic combination attacks it shot against enemies. The ending was kind of annoying, seeing that it left a lot of questions open and answered none. All in all, i'd say that the first one is good, and the second one has it's moments, but mostly utter crap.

I bought Kingdom Hearts on and played through that just because I wanted to play it again, then I returned it and got the second one and kept it. I would really like to get my hands on the final mix just so I could play it again and have something new to do. I have 358/2 days and I enjoy it i'm about half way through it I would say it's a pretty good game.

You're not really meant to jump straight from 1 to 2.

Selphie and Squall are both 17 in FF8, so it's just weird that Selphie seems to have aged backwards while Squall has continued forward. Same goes for Wakka.
Kurt Zisa will never have an equal, he was difficult as fuck, but some bosses were as much fun. Reaper in Port Royal and Groundshaker in the Pride Lands were rather fun boss fights, if only because they didn't involve me chasing the boss and whacking it until it jumps away and I repeat. Collecting the medallions to be able to fight Reaper was fun but took forever, and Groundshaker really takes advantage of the vastness of the Pride Lands to run everywhere. The Gummi Ship portions of KHII were horrible though. I could accept KH1's rail system, but KHII's system felt like I was on an actual rails instead of being able to control where I wanted to go.

The 1k battle was awesome, I wish you could replay it as you wish... :crying:
Kurt Siza being hard? The fuck you talking about, he was easy! The Phantom at the Big Ben is where it's at. That fucker took forever with KH1's primitive spell cast system. KH2 at least had quick selections, KH1 didnt and made Phantom almost impossible. Also, am i the only one that considered Chernobog being completely underrated by the game developers? "Boo i'm Chernobog, a badass enemy but SE made me a static enemy that spams fire. Cool eh"

"Boo i'm Chernobog, a badass enemy but SE made me a static enemy that spams fire. Cool eh"
In KH1 I was used to spamming Curaga whenever I get hurt and recover the lost MP through physical attacks, it's how I beat the Ice Titan. I didn't start to use Aero at all until I fought Sephiroth, and found it invaluable. Phantom was easy, you just had to realize which elemental spell or attack he's weak to and hit him three times and then immediately hit Big Ben with Stop. Every other spell I cast in that fight was Stop, and I mostly recovered my MP through physical strikes. And what do you mean, "Quick Selections"? You could assign spells to the buttons that made it easy to use during fights. In KHII the magic recharge bar stopped me from abusing the same heal mechanic I did in the first game. Kurt Zisa, on the other hand, casts Silence on your party in the beginning of the battle and runs away to the other end of the sandpit. I ran out of elixirs to heal myself because I couldn't use Curaga due to Silence. It made Phantom easy and Zisa hard.
I never, ever used Aero. :buddy:
I fucking love the KH games (except CoM. Fuck the card system). I ended up importing the special edition of KH2. The added content was soooo worth it [sp]Portals that allowed you to fight the Organization members that weren't in the game, Critical Mode, 0 EXP challenge, actual boss fight against Roxas[/sp]. Even though I can't read complicated Japanese text (fuck you, Kanji), I was still able to play the hell out of that game. I really want them to bring out another console Kingdom Hearts game. I just don't feel like I can get the full experience out of a handheld. :smith:
Oh wow, I just found some "comics" I made with Kingdom Hearts sprites when I was twelve. :v: Barely any point at all, .jpeg compression and so many emotes... so bad.
Are they as bad as all the fan comics on khinsider? Those made me want to shoot myself. :v:
I haven't seen them, but they're probably worse. :v: I just found some sprites from CoM and thought they fit for certain things, so I just put them together and added captions in paint. Here's the only one I could find that didn't have annoying emoticons: Like I said, there isn't a point to it anywhere, it's just that the sprites fit so well. :v: For future reference: Don't let 12 year olds make comics.
