Terraria Megathread II - Games

found my first jungle, got so many cool shit from there, who needs dungeons?

Are there any raffles for this game at the moment? I need this!

I could see Terraria as one of the few actually good crossover promo games for TF2. Scout: Hermes boots misc (leaves a trail of small dust clouds when running constantly for 2+ seconds) Cloud in a bottle (doublejump leaves a larger cloud). Pyro: Star launcher (the gun that shoots fallen stars), flaregun replacement Demoman: TNT launcher (Grenade launcher that throws TNT remodels of Pipe bombs) Heavy: Minishark Possibly more. Come on. TF2 doesn't even have an art style anymore, and the Terraria devs really do deserve the money all the item-hungry morons would pump into Terraria just for the items.

Thorn Chakrum or flamarang? Blade of Grass or fiery sword? :ohdear:

Yay they changed it so if you die the boss despawns, even if you are 5 seconds away from spawn. Time to farm eyeballs again... Got eye of cthulhu down to 500 hp.

Finally got this yesterday, spent three hours playing it multiplayer with my friend. It was awesome.

Wow..where the fuck did the time go..Got home after the dentist at 4pm..it's now 11pm..What the fuck..Damn I don't remember a game doing this to me in a while. Really enjoying it.

Found NAture's gift, now I only need rocket boots to finish collection.

Found one of those heart crystal things the first time I went mining, along with a demon altar. No idea how to use the altar, or what it does.

No idea how to use the altar, or what it does.[/QUOTE] You can use it to make items that summon bosses. 10 lenses makes a Strange Looking Lens which summons the Eye of Cthulu, and 30 Vile Powder and 15 Rotten Chunks makes a Worm Bait, which summons the Eater of Worlds.

I slept 4 hours today :smith: flooding imps is too fun.

I hope there will be huge bosses, and that you need to be at least 4 peeps to be able to take it down. The bosses right now are a joke.

Bought Terraria yesterday with my Civ 5 savings. Man, was it worth it.

Like a boss that is invulnerable to fire weapons but very weak to water ones, or a boss that can't be hurt by ranged weapons so you have to be in there using melee ones. That way, having diverse equipment would benefit everyone instead of it being a whole "whoever has molten armor is the strongest" sort of thing.

Well, I beat skeletron and went on a dungeon run to get all the good items that hang down there... Now it kinda feels like I've beaten the game.
