Has the difficulty been tweaked since the leak version? It was alright in that because there was no death penalty but in my opinion it was way too hard as a beginner.
Also does storing your money away in a chest stop you from losing it when you die?

Ahh, People are talking about how to get money for your miners helmet i found a really nice way of getting money, SAND !
Sand -> Glass -> Bottlesx2 (99 stack) sells for 20s, just find a desert dig down and stay down there and dig at the same spot and you will get 8g in notime,
Protip: Get a roof or you will get 1000xslimes on you

Eating mushrooms will give you 20, lesser potions will give you 100. You can find them in pots, buy them from the merchant or make them with 1 mushroom, 1 jelly and 1 bottle.

Holy shit remind me never to go on Gamefaqs again. Their Terraria board is a disaster.
I was there for less than 5 minutes and I saw one thread where everyone got sucked in by the world's most blatant troll, (arguing macs > PCs) another one with almost 100 posts where people bitched about Steam being malicious DRM that's harming their computer, and about 500 more threads of people asking why NPCs won't spawn.

Finally got my copy. Opted to go for the fourpack to surprise a few of my friends who had been keeping an eye on this but didn't have the money for it. Just because giving stuff to friends gives that warm fuzzy feeling :3:

[b]1[/b]- First, you're going to need to open the port. If you don't know how, I suggest going to [url]http://portforward.com/[/url] , finding your router, and following the " Default Guide " on how to open a port. ( I suggest opening both a port for TCP as well as UDP, makes it easier if you don't know what you're doing. )
[b]2[/b]- Simply enough, if you know how to open a port or have followed the previous step, you'll have to open port " 31337 "
[b]3[/b]- The rest is easy; Launch Terraria, go into " Multiplayer" -> " Start Server " -> Choose the world you want -> Set a Password if you want.
[b]4[/b]- You should now see a " Waiting for Clients " or something screen. Now you just have to send us your I.P ( [url]http://www.whatismyip.com/[/url] ), the password ( if you set one ) and we should be able to connect.
[b]5[/b]- If you want to connect to your own server, you're going to need to open another Terraria window, and type in your IPv4 I.P.
[b]5.5[/b]- To get your IPv4, you need to go to Run, type in "cmd", when the console box appears type in "ipconfig", and find your IPv4 Address.

Try this;
-Check your firewall settings.
-Be sure you're typing in the correct I.P.
-Shut off your router, and turn it back on.
-Make sure the correct ports are forwarded, both TCP and UDP 31337
