What's the difference between a Small, a Medium and a Large world? Besides obviously the size

On the opposite end of the Dungeon, you'll find the Ocean. Usually, underground jungle is above hellworld and located near the ocean..

They seem to have fixed the memory leak I had while hosting Terraria, and it only takes 60-70% of my CPU now instead of 95-100% and I even have other things working in the background so it's probably less.

I haven't posted here in a month, what the fuck is this sidebar crap? Why didn't you add smartness again.

What is the best way to obtain a gun? just from a dungeon or do I have to explore floating islands?

Is there anyway to play the steam version without steam? I want to bring this with me, more specifically to school (I've got 13 days left, I need to dick around), and steam won't work at school. This definitely is a good game to just carry around with you on a flash drive, in case of boredom emergencies.

Don't know if it will work but you can try it.

It does work.. and thats the problem.. ^^ Yeah just take the terraria folder with you :)

There is no portable versions of these.

So if I just follow a cave downwards, will I find an interesting area (dungeon/corruption/jungle/hell)?

I've put five hours into this so far and I'm loving it! I played a large world so i'm only in the dark cave areas, with about 180 health, it's so satisfying finding massive deposits of ores and precious gems, I literally cannot hold anything more in my inventory right now

Is it possible to convert maps from the leak for the steam version?

I think its stupid that only pots and skeletons drop hooks, since getting to skeletons and back again without one is freaking hard.

Hell is bottom of the hole map though, so you will hit it.

What the hell do I need to get a merchant to move in? 50 silver, and a room with a table, chair and chest? Add a bed? I've had one with a bed, chair, table, chest, and a clay pot if that counts for anything, for well over four hours and six gold on my person and he hasn't moved in.
