It's Ebonstone. You need either purification powder(from dryad) or a molten pickaxe.

You can also use dynamite or a bomb.

Why is everyone using hamachi?

You can set up the server to work without hamachi more easily than one with hamachi.

Yeah he spawned randomly for me, absolutely slaughtered me, I did maybe 200-300 damage

Just got the gold shortsword, it hasn't got the arc of the broadsword but damn is it quick, much better than the iron broadsword I've been using

Is it possible to craft a Flamerang? The wiki says that it is, but I have the required materials (enchanted boomerang and like 35 meteorite bars), but I can't seem to craft it. Anybody had any expense?

Above ground for me, as night fell I got the message about something evil watching me, around midnight (maybe a bit before) I got the message that the Eye of Cthulu had awoken, a little after that he came and raped me in my house

Also, does anyone know if obsidian has more uses than just obsidian skull? I have a fuckton of it since trying to guide water to lava is just too much fun
