Yeah I didn't want to make the comparison. I've been looking forward to an open ended 2D RPG styled game for a while, but the 3D craze has kind of prevented it until now.

The building is kind of mundane, Most of the action lies with in playing multi-player and spelunking with your buddies, Getting your ass kicked and screaming like little girls over the mic is a sign that the game your playing is good.

I wish there was kinda like a rope swing hook. You shoot it out as far as the grappling hook but you can swing and jump off of it.

2D games suck unlike Minecraft it is 3D, and 3D games pwn most games because well, you can do a lot more shit in it than you can do with 2D games.

Seems the bastard held a grudge against me, I started a new world for a refresh on resources and a new cave delving experience, on my first night, "An evil presence is watching you."
Graceful as ever, the mook comes back, except this time I managed to kill him after fighting for like 10 minutes. He dropped some interesting ore to which I made myself a combat-axe, and some other stuff. Great game.

Ok I am having a really hard time figuring out how to properly play the game with my friend. I mean we built a cave and shit, we started digging but haven't found anything, zombies are spawning even when there is no way in and there are torches everywhere.
I also see screenshots of merchants, badass houses, ladders, armor. And what the shit is the hammer for?
Is there a tutorial video, or a wiki or something like minecraft? I know this game isn't minecraft but it's hard not to compare it.
Still, despite all my nubishness I am having quite a lot of fun playing 2 player co-op with my friend.

Hammer is for removing background walls. I think that monster spawning is based on those walls, so destroy the back walls and replace them with wood walls or something.
Hammers also destroy pretty much everything but terrain and wood blocks, like chairs, tables, chests, heart crystals, etc.
