Well, I made sure to bring PLENTY of wood on this dungeon-crawling venture, and I came back with a much nicer haul than last time. This run started at the surface and ended in the underworld.

But I stopped digging up iron because I no longer have any use for it. I only dug up the copper because I want to make bricks out of it.
I really want to keep wearing that silver helmet but I need to use this mining helmet or else I'll probably get really sick of using torches.

This has probably already been addressed, but why can I not mine the rocks in the corruption area? I can't get to the shadow orbs.
I'm thinking Large wasn't the best choice. It takes 6 in-game hours for me to hit the dungeon going one way, and I've just barely got the silver armor. I'm not sure how deep I've gone, either, but it takes a great deal of time going up, too. I made a depth meter to get a more accurate measurement of where I'm at. I started seeing lava pits, so I'm close to Hell, but no Fire Imps just yet.
Oh, and Eye of Cthulhu came and raped me, too. That was fun.
So yeah. 6.9 Steam hours in and it's going slow.
Daw, was hoping for a new map, but beggars can't be choosers. :v:

Dynamite, molten pickaxe, and purification powder are the only ways to get through Ebonstone, that nearly indestructable rock.
For fuck's sake accidentally dropping dynamite at home sucks.

Can't find a damn hook... Killed so many skeletons, and broke so many pots. I've probably killed over 100 skeletons and broke 100 pots and I haven't obtained a hook yet.
